I could go for some nice global warming right now

That old gag.

This isn't a political issue; not a left vs. right thing; it's either happening or it isn't. Now, I'm far from a tree-hugger, but there is no way that the toxins and pollutants we are and have been dumping into the atmosphere, water and ground are not having adverse ramifications on things even beyond environmental shit like global warming and the greenhouse effect. I mean shit like birth defects, emotional and learning disabilities that are developed in utero from a mother's exposure, respiratory and immune system problems. The time has come to face the reality of the situation and do something about it.

The thing about Global Warming is that the name is a misnomer. A better name would be "earth changes" or something to that effect. The average temperature of the world is only going up a couple of degrees; not enough for us to notice. But all the frozen ice that is just at 32 degrees is now going to melt, and that's more ice than most people realize, enough to change the weather patterns around the world.

The weather patterns have changed a few times in human history. In the 1500-1600s there was a mini ice age where the temp dropped a couple of degrees. but this is the first time that the change has been manmade.

"Climate changes" go in cycles, but "Global Warming" refers to human activities that cause a retention of solar energy in the biosphere.

i agree lets start with China, because as we all know, CHINA IS COMING!!
the worse thing about this weather is that my knees and shoulder are throbing from it. it hurts to lift my arm up and down. rubbing out a batch in the shower is not supposed to be this painful.

Didn't the dinosaurs go extinct like 62 million years before humans evolved because the environment changes now and again? Would there even be a mankind if the environment didnt change? Change is good.

At least I am not sweating my fat ass off this summer... Im saving electricity because I am not using my air conditioner. To make electricity, the power company has to burn fossil fuel, so less fossil fuel is being burned because less electricity is needed.

Ocean currents, wind currents, and much more will continue to have an exponential effect on the overall weather via this simple change in salt content.

I am definitely going to see it, but lemme tell you, global warming or no, it's balls-stickin-to-thigh hot about 7 or 8 months of the year here in ATL.
