Does Tim Meadows really count as a comic? Or Kathy Griffin?

I love comedy in all it's forms. Sketch, standup, written...whatever. LCS is a good show.

I liked the handicapped guy. He had solid material two weeks in a row but, I kinda resent the overwhelming support thing. He's funny...okay...applaud and let's move on. The knee-slapping laughter and the standing ovation AND the audience award AND the second standing-O is laying it on a bit toooo thick. The sympathy was so thick, you could cut it with a knife.

Right now, if I had to pick a standout, it's Chris Porter (the dude that looks like Willy Wonka). You can just tell he's got a ton of material that he's dying to do in front of an audience.

that Porter guy reminds me of kaufmen or Kramer. he should be on a sitcom already. you can tell that he has material, three mins. was not enough for him. i think he done a half hour.

Roz SUCKED. I thought she was bottom 3 on last nights episode. I don't know how she made it through.

John(?) blue was well deserving of the extra award, I thought he nailed his set and was actually hilarious.

josh blue is really funny. ok, the standing ovation was a bit
much, but he really does have some good material. chris
porter does seem very sitcomish which is good i guess, but i dont think
hes that funny.

if bill dwyer loses, should he just
quit comedy all together since he has been doing this for 15 years
& is somewhat established?

Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Josh Blue IS funny. I laughed at almost all his jokes (the one about having to write each digit of his phone number on a seperate sheet of paper was great. "here...don't mix 'em up")

I just wish that people knew how to laugh appropriately and move on. That audience was a little TOO enthusiastic. It was almost patronizing.

Porter was a LOT better during the audition process. He crammed a lot more funny into those first two segments. His 2 mins wasn't hilarious but, you could tell that he didn't really hit his stride. I can't wait to see him get more time.

Does anyone else have a problem with the actual format of this show?

I understand that they have to vote out the weakest people but, there's got to be a better way to do it. The way it is now, the WORSE you are at comedy...the MORE time you get on TV. I think that kinda sucks.

This show is all about EXPOSURE and, they way they're running it....you almost get rewarded for being bad. You get MORE national air time than the people who are technically better.

Chris Porter and Roz tore it up. They were immune. Fine. But, they SHOULD be allowed to do another set on national TV. Instead...we get the sucky ones.

Kna'mean?

Good Point Fezadent..That Stella was a TOP NOTCH HACK! How she made it past the screeners is unreal. I kinda like the dykie but cute short blond haired skinny chick who reminds me a bit of Ellen. She had the best lines of the night to me. Shes quick witted and loves making fun of people, which makes her an ace in my book right away.

No doubt the crappy comics get more air which is stupid. Roz is funny but to distburbing to look at. The kid with Palsey is funny to, even beyond the Palsy. Finally, the dude who didnt heckle is just plain GAY!..

They should have called last night's show The Unfunniest Cunt Standing.

The funniest thing about the show last night was Anthony Clark's mortician make-up.

I'm surprised that there's never been a pay-per-view LAST COMIC STANDING that features successful comedians.

Rock, Chappelle, Seinfeld, Attell, Degeneres, Carlin, Cook, Black, Ross & Vos ..... on and on. You could easily find 24 well-known comics to do battle. It would DEFINITELY sell out any arena.

They made good yesterday by voting off Stella but even though April wasn't great, she was better than that other lady. Kristin Key and Josh Blue seem to be the early favorites right now.

Any one catch it last night. By far the best episode this season. Jim Norton made it even better.

Chris Porter tore it up. His set at the Roast was on par with ANY seasoned pro.

Got to say Porter and Roz fucking cracked me up last night. Kristen fucking flatlined at the roast and wasn't that great at the end either. At least they got rid of the unfunny twats, how did some of these hacks even get there? I really hated the selections early on this year. Stella made Justice look like Chris Rock, and Rebecca Cory wasn't funny the last time I saw her in Willy Wonka. Bill Dwyer, do I really need to even address him? They passed up some really funny cats too! I guess they had to go the whole United Colors of Benetton/United Nations route huh? I call shenanigans!
