that's pretty much all that's been around for awhile, I've mentioned it in a couple of other threads. a few names have been thrown around as young batman- freddie prinze jr., ben affleck, david boreanez. and they don't have a definitive script yet.
Aronofski is currnetly working on a sci-fi flick with Brad Pitt last I heard (Pitt also finished filming the next next Coen Brother's flick, not the one coming out this year but the one coming out next year with hardly any dialogue) and Spy Game looks cool (saw the trailer with From Hell).

The first rumors I heard about this movie were not very pleasing.
Although I love his work, from what it sounds Aronofsky's trying to turn Batman into a drug-riddled quasi-mafia mess.
But then again, it's Ain't-It-Cool-News. They said the Grinch was gonna be great.

to me the perfect villain for Aronofsky to use would be Scarecrow. Because let's face it, wouldn't he be the perfect director for a Scarcrow villained movie?
And when was the last time Aint-it-cool had a major scoop? I like the TV things like Hercules and Moriarty but Harry, he hasn't been impressive. Hell until recently he's been too fat to go to a movie theater.

If I don't see Keaton in the next Batman movie, I'm officially swearing off Batman forever. After the TERRIBLE movies Kilmer and Clooney gave us, I'm about there already. And if I hear Prinze's name, I'm gonna shoot myself!
Turn Batman into a date movie I guess. Good Idea guys. There's not 50 of those movies every year already. Let's kill a good story line this time.
FUCK YOU!

Last I heard, this film was DOA.
And I'm not crying about it. The last 2 Batman films left a bad taste in my mouth. I think Kevin Smith said it best when he called Batman and Robin "a gay fantasia".

The only other thing known is that Cliff from Pop Will Eat Itself was tapped to do the score. He previously did Pi with Aronofsky.
And Harry is too mainstream to be trusted with the real scoops by the underground informants he used to get.

First off yes, kill Robin, he adds nothing. If it's a past movie, ok, terrific no problem. if it's set after B&R, an opening sequence that kills Robin a la Todd would just be awesome.
Secondly, the reason the other two batmen sucked was one name JOEL SCHUMACHER. He ruined it, not Kilmer, not Clooney. SCHUMACHER made gotham all colorful and gay. Aronofski could get it back to the gritty darkness of the real Gotham city.
