Go see it. It's really good and it's worth the price of admission just to hear Juggernaut say his famous line "Don't you know who I am? First of all the movie rocks. Don't believe this is the last one, they totally set up another sequal in the last shot. Also, anyone who saw it through the credits please post it here with spoiler font or PM what happens, I didn't know to stay until i got home and read i should stay through the credits in Entertainment Weekly.

I saw X-Men 3 last night. I was pretty disappointed, but I expected to be. It was the worst of the series. In order I go.

X2,X1,X3

I thought the dialog was overly cheesy. It's one thing to have Storm spout out cheesy lines, but when Magneto is spouting out cheesy lines, it really takes you out of the movie. The score was RIDICULOUSLY bad. Nothing compared to the first two movies where the music really took you into the movie.

The story was mediocre at best. The was no real sense of continuity of the movie. It just felt like you were jumping from scene to scene. The actions of Magneto make absolutely NO sense. Both emotionally and stategically. The final battle scene was played so poorly by magneto I almost wanted to cry. It just seemed like the actions of a madman, rather than a man fighting for a cause.

There was a scene with pyro, and iceman, where they do the typical "battle of energies" scene, where they are locked in the middle, and you have to see who is going to be more powerful. I'm pretty sure I have seen that in 100 prior movies, and didn't need to see it again. Couldn't that have been more creative?

Some special effects looked worse in this movie, than the previous two. Like wolverines claws, and collosus's metal looked fake. I'm not sure why. Maybe the budget was less because the actors wanted more money (understandably). Or maybe there were just so many big special effects scenes, that they didn't have time for the little things.

I feel like they took a good premise, and made the classic mistake of more is better. More characters, more action, more explosions, but less of a story and overall sense of reason.

With that being said, it's probably worth 10 bucks to see, but that's about it.

****SPOILER****

At the end of the movie, the guy they were talking about who was mostly dead in the emergency room. Xavier entered his body. So the scene is the doctor coming over to check on the patient, and xaviers voice comes through, and says something like "moira, it's xavier." Moira being Xaviers ex-wife. And that's it.

It was really good but, not really GREAT. Something aboot it just felt so....made-for-tv.

I loved the whole "mutants can be cured" plot-line. The Phoenix plot felt a bit like the old Star Trek tv show to me. (All powerful being that needs to be reasoned with.)

When I used to read the comic books, the Phoenix-Dark Phoenix plotlines were so gradual and interesting. In the movie, it was reduced to a secondary plot. I understand the need for that but, it could've been done a little better. Especially since this is so OBVIOUSLY not the last installment.

I loved the growth of the students. Seeing them master their powers over the course of two & three movies is very very cool.

The one thing I would have developed more is the little boy, Jason, and his storyline more about why he was born to cure mutants. Also, why did he trust the girl who can go through walls and not Juggernaut if he saved him? I wish they developed him more.

Also, Jean Grey could barely lift a pencil in the first movie, now Xavier says she could lift every car in the neighborhood when she was 10? Kind of strange.

I thought this movie was OKAY at best. With comic book movies, I expect so much from them, that I usually get disappointed.

My only gripe for this movie was some of the special effects (especially the wire-stunts) made it look so fake.

Although I do like the way Jean Grey looked in the red costume and Magneto/bridge scene.

I really, really didn't like it. I thought the story was ok (a combination of Whedon's Cure story and Dark Phoenix), but there was so much just thrown out there without any resonance. 3 characters died and I just didn't care. In Singer's X-Men, I actually cared about the characters and when Jean dies, it means something. When the first character dies (I'll be nice and not do too much spoilerage), I didn't care. I didn't get the feel that they loved each other, they meet, they kiss, one dies.

There's a new love triangle in the series, and it lasted an entire 3 scenes. One character goes for the cure, but they show one scene where she says she'll go, one where she's headed to the clinic, and then the last scene she's in. Explore the implications of her choice, not "don't do it for a boy."
