For me, it was Cactus Jack vs. Triple H in a street fight at the 2000 Royal Rumble.
There is absolutely no question that the greatest match of all time was between Mic Foley and the Undertaker. Mic went through the ring, landed hard and carried out on a stretcher with a major concussion only to come back again to be once again tossed from high above the cage onto a table causing internal injuries that laid him up in a hospital for a month or longer. It was so violent a match that Vince McMahon vowed that he would NEVER again allow a match of that magnitude to occur ever again under his brand. No match in history changed wrestling like that one did. We will never see a match like that again due to this one insane match that will go down as the most physically abusive match in the history of wrestling. Now you jabronies pencil neck geeks listen to what I say because My opinion is the only one that matters.

Taz v. Bam Bam Bigelow
The eliminators v. Dr. Death and Bamm Bamm
Flair v. Von Eric
WAR GAMES I- the match beyond brutality
any of the 3 way dances with the Dudleys were great matches.

I agree with the Taz v. Bam Bam Bigelow, also RVD v. Bigelow. Then one of my favorites may not have been the best match, but it had the biggest shock in wrestling history. "Bash at the Beach" Hall & Nash v Sting, Luger & Macho Man, and the famous 3rd mad for Hall & Nash comes out to form the nWo.

Undertaker vs. Mankind in Hell in a Cell. By far my favorite, plus I have always been a big Undertaker fan.

Hogan vs. Piper - The War to Settle the Score. I was a huge Piper fan and anti Hogan when I was kid, and that match (even though it was short) was better than the Wrestlemania 1 main event.

Just about any Ric Flair NWA title match I can watch over and over again. Espically when he was fighting champions from the terrortories.

The best match I've seen live was Chris Benoit vs. Steven (I wasn't William yet) Regal at the 2000 Pillman Show. Regal was coming back from rehab, and was at the WWE Memphis terrority, and no one has seen wrestle in a while and he and Benoit had a stiff back and forth match that the crowd in the palm of their hands. Great stuff.

Savage vs Steamboat at Wrestlemania is probably one of the greatest matches I've ever seen. Foley/Undertaker is more like greatest spot match of all time, and even the spot match, it has to compete with TLC at WM 17. I was watching Steamboat/Hart on the Bret Hart dvd in a bar, with no sound, and that rivals the Savage/Steamboat match, but Savage wins just for the backstory with the bell and tongue swallowing.

I'd have to go with Hart/Smith from Summerslam 92, great back and forth
match with two guys that knew each other really well and it had a great
finish, plus it might have had the hottest crowd I've ever seen.
I'm a big fan of Royal Rumble '92. 20 guys all close to their peaks. The old guys like Savage and Flair up against the new blood like Undertaker and Shawn Michaels. An entire hour of action with a huge payoff.
