I fucking HATE the idea of supergroups and bands with some famous members in it.

They should have to start at the bottom and prove they can play and get a fanbase just like regular bands. Who's to say some musicians are gonna get together and make good music just because they were part of a band beforehand that sold tickets? But with a little name recognition, they're playing big rooms their 1st shows.

Fuck that, they should have to claw their way to the top again.

I have not seen the show yet -- but the idea... is GENIUS. Well, maybe not genius, but really really good. I'd say keep it going and mix nearly was'es and has beens from different musical genres etc.

As far as having some goal of saving metal or bringing metal back... Ack. There it falls apart for me. It reminds me of Lita Ford in one of those awful VH1 behind the music things where she's walking on a beach complaining that Kurt Cobain wrecked music. Cringey sad.

He just seems like a low key guy who has a grip on the sense of humor surounding this show. He seems really grounded.
