the problem for me is the cheaper stations are usually so far away that it negates any savings i'll get by driving to said station

I posted this in an earlier thread about gas prices but thought It would be worth it to post it again.

One way to save a little bit on gas price is to get yourself a discover card. You will automatically get 5% cash back when you buy gas with it. The only problem with this is that not all stations accept discover cards.

At todays prices, you will get about 15 cents back per gallon of gas
