Okay, 52 has ended. What are your thoughts?

I was pleased with the title, especially the Black Adam and Elongated Man storylines. I was suprised that DC had their shit together enough not to miss one week and to keep it going as well as they did (especially given the HUGE fuckup on the Wonder Woman title).

I find the following interesting:

The multiverse is officially back and we found out that 52 means 52 parallel universes, including some of the old Pre-Crisis universes, as well as the Wildstorm and Kingdome Come universe.

The next weekly series is going to be "Countdown," which I will check out given 52's success.

I've only read the first few and I wasn't very interested. I'm not sure I have never been huge on DC, maybe I'm just too detached from the characters. Did the story pick up more after the first couple?

what was the fuckup ???

what was the fuckup ???

Last June, they relaunched the book with Allan Heinberg (writer for "Party of Five," "OC" and "Grey's Anatomy"). Because of Heinberg's other gigs, the book was often late. But the HUGE fuckup was after issue #4, which ended with Wonder Woman surrounded by all of her enemies, all of which have been made more powerful.

Issue #5 had a new writer, and started a new storyline with no resolution of Heinberg's storyline.

Heinberg couldn't finish the story, so DC didn't finish it either.
