I think there are still tickets on sale (go figure). And for you Dig! fans Joel (the tamborine man) will be playing with the band. Don'y miss it!

His role is so pointless, and he is just there to annoy people. In Dig! he made it seem like he was a real member of the band and what not...he was nothing he banged his tamborine when anton told him to and that was it. Anton is the only reason to see this band, he might as well just play solo.

What's their sound? Being a musician I know you don't want to get compared to other stuff but just curious what they sound like.

I hear early Stones (obviously) + the Smiths in there (lots of guitars - at one point in the show there was Anton on guitar + 2 guys playing 12 string guitars and another playing acoustic!)...

but instead of me trying to describe them just go to their website:

http://www.brianjonestownmassacre.com/mp3.html

Just about everything they've ever recorded is available for free! (I would start with 'Peel Sessions" ...

Really boring show last night. I like the band alot but they had zero personality last night and it took forever between songs.
