I think they debuted the Heart Classics In Concert last night.

By the time I had turned it on the Alice In Chains part ( the only thing I wanted to see ) was over.

They had Carrie Underwood ( who looked very hot ) on for one song and I know at the end Dave Navvaro was playing on a few songs.

The credits also listed Duff McKaggan under Alice IN Chains so I don't know what that was about.

No the way they do the Classics thing is they have like one older group ( they've done one w/ Cyndi Lauper ) and they bring on a few relevant and sometimes trendy guests.

Like Cyndi laupers one had Shaggy and Train performing with her.

Well if that Underwood chick is 12 she shouldnt be out there in knee high dominatrix boots looking like a tramp.

Bad parenting.

When are they going to do Donna Summer? Or did they already?

Damn.

I wish we got VH1 (or, for that matter, Comedy Central) up here in Toronto.

We only get a few of the US programs here & there and they are ALWAYS, like, 3 months old. (I haven't even see Chef get killed yet!)

VH1 has/had some damn good shows. I loved Best Week Ever & Whatever Happened To and all that stuff. Did VH1 bring back Behind The Music? They really need to resurrect that one. They still haven't done sooo many bands (Van Halen, Janes Addiction, ABBA, Nine Inch Nails......)

You're not really missing a lot.

While they may have the occasional interesting program the vast majority of their shit sucks.

Its always some " list " show about Paris Hilton.

They were doing a Webjunk show for a while that had like all the videos and stuff that were making their way around email/internet.

The Canadian versions of MTV and VH1 are called MuchMusic and MuchMoreMusic. They actually do play videos when they're not showing episodes of The Sureeal Life.

The problem is, they've made an actual LAW that a certain percentage of the aired content has to be Candian in origin ( or "can-con" as it's come to be known) So, in other words....we get a lot of Shania, Avril, and Barenaked Ladies even though none of them have a current single.

I wouild love to see the VH1 concerts and stuff up here.. Fortunately, I was still living in the US when The Eagles and Fleetwood Mac did their big comeback concerts. VH1 needs to keep that shit goin'. (The Police, Styx, Vh, Prince...)
