Has anyone seen Mission Impossible 3?

What did you think of it?

I just watched it tonight and thought it was better than MI 2.

***Warning - Potential Spoiler***

The movie did a good job of misleading audience of who the villain is.

Earl was right, it was very action packed and had a lot of explosions. I give it 3 1/2 out of 4 stars.

Hoffman is an excellent bad guy, he's excellent in all the characters he's portrayed in movies.

Did you know Billy Crudup does the voice overs for the Master Card commercials?

Do you notice Tom Cruise is always running in his movies? The Firm, Collateral, Minority Report, War of the Worlds.

i love the franchise. MI was a great TV show, the first 2 movies were cool. But, i will not go see the movie because Cruise is a dick. I might even get it on bootleg just to spite him. HA! take that queer boy.

I thought Cruise was ok, but definitely not worth $100,000.000.

This movie was dogshit.

It was WAY too long and surprisingly dull. Maybe it's just me but ever since Oprah I can't look at Tom Cruise the same way anymore. He's lame, from the scientology bullshit to the fake love affair with Katie Holmes, and no amount of gun or martial arts choregraphy is ever going to regain that cool factor he once had.

Nothing but praise for Philip Seymour Hoffman. He took a turd of a part and actually made the character compelling to watch. For an overweight cherubic looking man he actually displayed some genuine menace.

That's an actor man.

Maybe Tom should consider roles along the lines of Born on the 4th of July, something he can exercise his chops instead of trying to reclaim the magic of his Top Gun years. You're a man in your 40's Tom. Time to start playing the roles.

And let me just add if you're a fan of dialogue, beware of gems like these

"Tell me it's real, Ethan." (referring to thier love)

"I need you to trust me."

"I trust you." (followed by warm embrace, impromptu marraige ceremony and shitty, no flesh, no boobs sex scene which lasted for 10 seconds.)

"Do the right thing. (Asking a villain not to shoot his wife, as if any arms dealer worth his snot is going to suddenly find compassion, Cruise was also crying like a bitch.)

"I will bleed on the flag to keep the stripes red."

"This compound is the anti-god, real end of the world stuff."

Other parts I enjoyed:

Lots of people getting shot, no blood.

Close proximity explosions that leave little more than a bruised ego.

Predictable storylines.

Wasting my money.

Selling my soul to a man who worships a religion based on a bad novel by a sciene fiction author.

There is no way Tom got 100 Million for this job. I think the most anyone ever got for an acting job was 30 million or so.

I'm with Stugots. There is no way I'm spending any more money on a Tom Cruise movie. I have the first MI on DVD, I also have Minority Report, but that's the end of me supporting this idiot.

The trailers made it look good and I'm a huge fan of Lost, but given the review by Jeff and the fact the JJ Abrams doesn't seem to be involved with Lost anymore (It was Lloyd Braun's idea that he hired JJ to make. JJ met with Damon Lindelof who actually created the show and no Damon seems to be the one {along with Carton Cuse} who is actually running that show. JJ was recently interviewed [TV guide, I think] and said that he was totally surprised by the finale of this second season. Sure he was busy making MI3 and begining Star Trek 11 but you'd think he'd check into his most successful project a bit more often) I don't have any desire to see this thing anymore. JJ created Alias (which is what got Tom Cruise to ask JJ to do this MI film) and that show looks like crap.

It's been rumored for years, probably by jealous men, maybe some scorn women. Lawsuits, magazine covers... just a huge question mark that follows him.

Well, now there is proof. See for yourself.

Tom Cruise is most certainly white.

Why? Why? Tom's made tons of money. Why make him dance like he's your monkey...
