View Full Version : New Tool
I thought tool was hard rock. This new album seems to be very
trippy if you will. Almost Pink Floydish if you will. (My freind gave
me a copy of the Cd BTW and I Dont know how he got it)

What's the deal with the album art/packaging?

The CD has a foldover flap with what appears to be two magnifying glasses built into it. Are there any microscoping messages in the booklet??

Fans will go nuts over this stuff. Personally, I think it's a BRILLIANT method of getting people to buy the physical disc instead of downloading the tracks. Give the fans something substantial to hold, read, and look at more than once. Very cool.

Tool has always been kinda trippy and Pink Floydish. Maybe that just sticks out more on this new album.

I found this out about a week or 2 ago.

If you downloaded it off the net there's a very good chance you got their fake leaked album by some other band that sound a lot like them.

Nice move on their part to fuck with people.

But I never really thought Tool was that great and hate Perfect Circle so I won't be buying it.
