Ya gotta love Godfather. But Scarface is much more sick brutal and shocking so... you gotta love scarface even more.

Yeah, Goodfellas was good, bronx tale 2, haven't seen "casino", or "white Heat"

but STILL I say scarface is the best. :)

Wasn't this a thread with like 40 replies? And Godfather kicks Scarface's ass in more ways than one. I think GF is more brutal than SF.

However a Scarface 2 Son of Scarface, last I heard, is in pre-production.

Godfather Parts I and II, Part III sucked big time.

Goodfellas is a very close second.

critics like to call "band of outsiders" a gangster movie, so i'll have to say that godard's "band of outsiders" is my favorite mobster flick.

coming from a good old italian boy (or a wap whatever you want to call it) goodfellas is the best hands down, followed closely by godfather and a bronx tale....and casino was just a goodfellas wanna-be :p

Goodfellas and A Bronx Tale
for sure! I just never got
into the Godfather.

Scarface was pretty good even
though it really isn't a mob
film. I saw it in the
theater-- the chainsaw scene
was just WAY too gruesome!

My fave movie is definitley goodfellas, I cant even think of how many times I've seen it. Donnie Brasco is also REAL good. And like Alice, I just couldnt really get into the whole godfather scene. I've never seen Casino, but Im determined to rent it. How can you guys all forget Jay Mohr's greatest work (is there such a thing): Mafia! Just kidding that was awful!

Goodfella's with out a doubt. I am a little biased because in real life Henry Hill has claimed to have buried two bodies on the golf coarse I caddied at when I was younger.

Scarface was damn good, and the Godfather's I & II (not 3) were extremely well done.

Oh... and My Blue Heaven was pretty funny.
