<p><a href="http://sports.espn.go.com/golf/news/story?id=2423796" target="_blank">13 year-old Dakoda Dowd shoots a 2-over in LPGA Ginn Open.</a></p><p><img width="422" height="275" border="0" src="http://msnbcmedia.msn.com/j/msnbc/Components/Photos/040627/060427_kelly_jo_dowd_hmed.h2.jpg" /><br /> </p><p>Dakoda is an amateur golfer, and her mother is dying of terminal cancer. Her mother's one wish was to see her daughter play in an LPGA tournament before she died and today, thanks to a sponsor's exemption, that's exactly what happened.</p>

thats awesome that they let her play so her mom could see it, too bad she's only 13 and probably the mom wont last long enough to ever see her win but miracles do happen

i think i saw the other day on espn that the mom was the first hooters girl or calender girl something like that
