Last week me and Amy were in Stew Leonards and came across this wine called Luzon Verde, a little odd by the label with this grass on it. It had a very good rating and was only around $7.99 I picked it up and I'm having it tonight, it's very good. Very drinkable and smooth.

The dense ruby/purple-tinged, medium-bodied 2004 Luzon Verde reveals a crisp, elegant, sweet nose of blueberries, plums, lavender, and anise. With lovely sweetness and purity as well as a spicy, long finish, it should provide plenty of enjoyment over the next 2-3 years. Robert Parker (89).

I have never been able to get into wine. They always taste bitter to me. I've never found one that I thought tasted good. Probably this is because I am a cheap fuck and don't dare spend too much on something I don't know if I will like.

Can someone recommend a good bottle of wine that would set me back $20 or less ?

double post. sorry

Woodbridge, Luna Di Luna, or Kendall Jackson have always been satisfying as well...

Another good wine for folks that want to get into wine with out breaking the bank is Bully Hill from Upsate NY. They make a wine called Goat White that is very good. sweet but not too sweet. It costs about 6-7 bucks a bottle. They alos make a rose wine called Pink Catawba. Very good, and always gets the wife a little frisky

http://bullyhill.com/

If ya want red, Red Cat bu Hazlitt, also Upsate is great, about 8 bucks a bottle. It is great with stuff like BBQ and pizza.

http://www.hazlitt1852.com/

I like a good dry sauvignon blanc or a dry pinot grigio. Chardonay tastes too oaky for me.
