I watched it tonight and aside from the Christian vs. Abyss match
and the Lethal Lockdown match, it was pretty fucking boring.

The
first couple of matches sucked and went on for WAY too long and then
they decided to slow the action down even further by having a
steel-cage arm wrestling match between Konan and some old guy.

Didn;t wathc it but I have to agree with the arm wrestling contest. When will the Bullet Bob Armstong's the Vince Russos the Erick Bishops realize no one wants to see the GM position unless it is Vince McMahon or Shane McMahon

It is overkill of the gimmick. I said this last year when they
had this show. A cage match used to be the blow off match for a
feud and would mean it was being taken very seriously. Just to
throw a match in there in an attempt to make it more special is just
sad. And putting an arm wrestling match in a steel cage makes it
that much worse.

And lets remind everyone that this
was the card that Candido was hurt on that started the consequences
that led to his death.

I happen to liked the PPV. The idea of an all cage PPV is unique. They rarely have six sides of steel in regular matches which is why usually it's saved for Lockdown.

-I liked Raven's return. Don't know what the point of Christy Hemme is.

-Christopher Daniels should have stayed champ so that he could have started a title feud with Low-Ki who is now another name (Senshi) so that he doesn't lose his "Low-Ki" monkier to copywriting. TNA doesn't seem like they'd pull a McMahon and screw him out of copywriting issues which is why I don't understand the name change.

-When is the World X-Cup actually going to be held? I've heard so much about it but haven't seen really anything else but the teams occassionally fighting each other. The Super X-Cup was put together a lot better. Guess it's difficult when there's more talent involved and not all of them signed.

-Are Sting and Steiner done? Now that the feud took place in a huge War Games like matchup, can all of them move on? Not that I mind seeing the Stinger since he does give TNA much needed ratings.

-More focus should have been on Christian vs. Abyss. There was a great storyling going with Alex Shelley's camera work and it just didn't feel like it got the hype it should have gotten. I mean, he's the main champion. He should get a little more than what he got. However, it was a good match. I guess they'll have a rematch at Sacrafice now that Abyss has "stolen" the title.

the lamest part for me was waiting on line from 12 noon to get into the ppv and at 755pm and about ten feet from the door they reached the fire hazard limit of people and werent letting anyone else in unless people left, but i did get too watch the ppv for free on the monitors outside the soundstage

Cougar, which line did you stand in? Along the Hard Rock? A friend gave me and my son some free Universal passes, which I thought was great and better than standing in the Hard Rock line at the last PPV. So what happens? We get to the main first line around 330 pm, about maybe 100 in front of us. Not bad I thought, then wait and wait and wait till 6 pm they start rolling in the wheelchaired fans, so the line starts moving. I'm like, "yes we will get in this time for sure'. Then thru the fence to the girl saying Street Team to the left all others to the right....straight to ANOTHER line along the side of a building. then ANOTHER wait and wait. After some neck stretching to see what was going on...finally the Street Team/Employees go in, then the wheelchairs, then finally our group...when we got inside it was ALREADY PACKED, but we got seats to the right of the Face entrance ramp. So then I thought, whats gonna happen to the ppl from the Hard Rock line? There couldnt be any way all those pple would get in.

What REALLY sucks more is that the Street Team gets all their pple in first. Like the skinny white guy who is always dead center in the pit...he brought like 40 pple behind him and they all walked right past us in the main line..then another gang of "friends of the street team" came marching in. Of course they get all the great spots to sit and/or stand at to see the action. Well I like sitting eye level with the ring anyway. But I doubt Ill go to PPV's again, because the waiting is INSANE. Best bet for those wanting to go...get a pass INTO Universal, then walk on over to the studio line next to the Nickelodeon stage. Bring something to drink, a good book, GameBoy, PSP, Ipod, etc to entertain yourself while you are bound to stand there at least 4 - 5 hours in the main line. Do your best not to stand in the Hard Rock line, cause there is NO GUARANTEE you will get in from that line...lucky if you do.

im watching it right now (god love the internet) its not so bad. there was some good wrestling on there. i will say this, stop bringing in old names looking for a paycheck. I had read for impact that buff bagwell, rick steiner, and lex luger were back stage for some nonsense with sting. its 2006 not 1996, no one wants to see you anymore. if you could work entertaning matches people would definitely be up for seeing it, but what the fuck, lex luger was NEVER entertaining.

i always liked buff, but wtf? go back to 97, and pull an angle with rick steiner, and he can break your neck again.

was anyone in awe of chase stevens missing the shooting star. i couldnt tell if it was a planned miss, or if he misjudged.

one last thing..
