Has anyone gone to the Car Show?

I try to go every year, this year more so, since I will getting rid of truck and purchasing a more fuel efficent car. So yesterday, my chick and I went after work. I was set on the GTi until I saw the new VW convertible the EOS. It looks like a smaller verison of the seabring. It is a hardtop convert. with a full panel sunroof. Super Sharp, and the 4 Cyl. or 6 Cyl are both good on gas.

I think VW has a tendencey to do so. If so your gas cost will obviously be higher.

Sum bitch, I have no idea. I can not even check since the car doesnt come out until the late summer. I will keep it in mind, thank you.

I also looked at the chrylser seabring. it is a 6 cyl, that claims 21 MPG which makes it 18 in reality. not too bad, and better than my envoy (10-14). I also liked the PT Cruiser (go ahead and take you shots), to me it is a cool looking car. again the gas is about the same as the seabring.

i love the pt. my friend just bought an 06 cooper, they claim 28 mpg city, 31 highway. thats pretty good, and its actually pretty big inside.

i was looking to save up and dump my blazer in the spring, for something like a mustang, or a g35, but now i dont know with how gas is going to be. if i was getting a stang, i was getting a gt, and the g35 requires premium fuel... grr fucking gas.

my dad has an 04 stratus, its the same thing as a sebring, just different trim package interoir. its great on gas, he gets about 24 miles a gallon. it has a real weird angle in the front when youre driving, its something to consider, i think the A- pillar actually creates a bad spot to see when coming out into an intersection from a stop sign.

I traded in my 2001 VW Passat (30-34 mpg but they recomend premium gas) for a 2006 Honda CRV. The CRV has a ton more room that the Passat (of course because it is an SUV) and the mileage is still pretty good at 26.5 mpg so far.

The volkswagen was really starting to cost a lot in repairs (over $1500 in the last year with another $800 coming soon for the timing belt). I can safely say I would will own a volkswagen again.

We have owned a couple of Hondas over the last 10 years and had zero problems that weren't minor and covered by the warranty.

Trading from a truck to a small car is quite a change Stugots. I did it when I got my passat in 2001 and I was never able to really get comfortable in the smaller vehicle, even though I was moving from a small suv (pathfinder) to the passat.

Rich, I know what you are talking about with the transition from my big truck to a small car. But given the fact that today I put in less than half a tank and spent 35.00. Maybe its not a lot of money, but that is right out of my pocket, not money I put away for bills. Plus that will not last long with driving that i have to do this week. I will need another half tank on Tuesday afternoon. Another reason to go smaller is that my chick is going to start driving, no she isnt 16, she is 32 and has never driven. She is going for lessons this summer and wouldnt be able to drive a big truck. So, until we buy a house and have the $$$ for a truck for me and gas prices come down, I will trading in for smaller, yet more fun by getting a convert.
