I got forced to work the 6:00 am shift today...I am not a happy camper. I am not a morning person as it is but I get outa here at 11:30pm, went to bed at 1, and had to be up at 4:30. I don't even feel alive yet. The best part about it is that I have never worked the early shift so I have no idea if there are any special tasks I am supposed to be doing so I am just sitting at my desk writing this thread cause I have nothing to say in all the other ones. Lock this if you will, at least it killed a minute of my long 8 hour day. Someone save me!

(Side note- If anyone knows where the DHL is in South Plainfield, NJ could you bring me a botle of water, I am serious, the soda machines are all out and somoene kicked in our two water coolers, I am drinking diet pepsi at fucking 6am UGH - I'll pay ya back!)

It's gay but it comes with the territory. Only good thing is those people usually get labeled "complainers" and they don't get promoted and considered for things as much because no one wants to deal with their complaining ass.

Within the last year or so my good work ethic, good people skills and ability to adapt to a changing work condition have paid off very well with raises and promotions. My advice to you is to try and be the person they can depend on from time to time without making a big deal about it. In time, hopefully SOMEONE who matters will notice that "Hey, when we need something Amy is always there." and you'll get what you deserve.

I work Tue-Fri from 2:30-11pm and Saturday 8:30am-5:30pm. It kind of sucks if I have to stay till closing on Fridays cause it takes me at least an hour to get home, then I'm wound up and can't sleep and need to get up at 6:30am.

Thats why I work for myself. Make my own hours. Got tired of working for the man.

Speaking of which, if anyone needs a job, I need 1 person to come in4-5 days a week, for probably 4-5 hours a day. Doing normal stuff, answering phones, printing and sending letters, filing. Pays good for the job you are doing, but the job is more important than it seems. I run a busy collection agency, and letters and incoming calls are our lifeblood. I'd prefer a female, just because of the friendly voice answering the phones. Now before you go thinking I want to fuck the help, I've had 2 girls in there already, both attractive, both sent signals in their own way, and I didn't fuck either. I'm not going to lose my business for a piece of ass. But wen a client comes in, I'd rather them find a reasonably attractive lady, but most importantly, a great personality. So, if you know anyone, PM the Tool
