When people talk about dominate tag teams you never hear Demolition mentioned. They held the tag straps for over a year during a period that there were alot of tag teams. They were dominate heals and good guys? While I would not say they were the best tag team I ever saw I would defiantly put them in the top 10.

I think they never get mentioned because they were such an obvious Road Warriors rip-off. I did dig their theme song, though.

I recently saw one of their old WWF matches. I don't remember them being that fat when I watched them as a kid.

"Here comes the Ax. Here comes the Smasher. The Demolition, walking disaster. Pain and destruction are our middle names."

With Mr. Fuji and his cane. Jesus, remember that, when a cane could take some one out of a match? Or a megaphone. Remember when Jimmy Hart flipped his heel turn on the Hart Foundation and Demoliton used the megaphone to win the match against them? I could be wrong, but was that the same Saturday Night's Main Event that saw the breakup of the MegaPowers?

I wrote in the ECW thread about it being a golden era for wrestling, but mid-80s to the early 90s was the golden era for tag teams. Both Feds, too many to name.

I was always a fan of tag teams, I still am, but there are not many to cheer for in WWE. TNA has some good ones, plus they have the Dudleys.

Demolition had a great theme song, and awsome attire. those goalie masks were cool. they were Road Warrior ripoffs, no doubt, but they dominated the WWF Tag Team Division. They laid out Rick Martel, made Tom Zenek leave the WWF, took apart the powers of Pain (I know the Road Warriors did it first).

How does anyone think they would fare against the Dudleys? Or Big Show & Kane?

I think a Dudlies Demolition feud would be amazing. I think the Dudlies would win however I think Demolition would defeat the Big Show and Kane much like they did the Twin Towers.

Agreed but when I think of the dream match up I think about both teams at there peak. Both are dominating. I see it as ECW rules since Demolition would not mind a no DQ match and I see Smash being 3-ded on the Table.
