This. It's the same exact product that fisherman will use for bait, and most bar&grills are using the same frozen squid for their calamari. If you're not using it for bait, you will need to thaw it and clean it, which involves pulling the "beak" out and rinsing any remnant guts and long tentacles away. I hated this job when I worked in restaurants; it's much easier to bait a hook with it.

Unscrew the tape's case and see what's going on. There should be like 4 screws holding the thing together. If you are technically inept, or have shaky hands, don't do it. I also seem to remember there being a lock on VHS tapes that the VCR would disengage. I think it is a round hole on the bottom of the tape that contains a switch that has to be depressed in order to spin the reels. Then again, I haven't touched a VHS in 20 years, so I could be completely wrong.

It's the pea sized hole in the middle. If you stick something in there, the wheels should spin freely.

My trash was picked up today, just like normal. I noticed one house on the corner, that had its trash out early, appeared to be unoccupied for the last couple of days. I think they put their trash out before going out of town, and it sent a pheremonal signal through the suburbian hive-mind, triggering a reflexive, preemptive trash exodus. These worker drones are so preprogrammed, that one of them took his full cans in the following day, because that's what the programming dictates. I can only imagine that this particular drone will stall out in a conflict-state when it goes to deposit it's next garbage-pupae into the reclamation pod, only to find a distinct lack of space available. This poor specimen will remain stalled out by the reclamation pod in full-blown process lock because the simplistic hive programming does not account for this. I only hope that the drone does not starve to death, and its mate is able to transport the pod for pick-up on the following reclamation-solstice in order to free up this valuable worker for the greater good.

What's good to use on a burn scab? I burned my inner forearm on Saturday with a soldering iron. I didn't put anything on it until Monday night. At first it was just a little sore, but it started hurting pretty bad, and getting red Sunday night. As soon as I put aloe on it, on Monday night, the contact point turned dark and the scab started forming.

Since then, it's been getting darker and the area is drying out. I had to put some hydrocortisone cream on it this morning to keep me from scratching it. The pain isn't that bad, but it's pretty damn dark, very dry, and hurts when I bump it. Should I just keep using aloe on it? Should I use my generic oatmeal lotion on it? Any suggestions?

EDIT: Fucking great. I just read that the itching is a good sign that the wound is healing, but I should do everything possible to avoid scratching it. So, I guess this means that I should just keep it bandaged, to avoid scratching... and just deal with the itching. I HATE ITCHING!

That's kinda how I took it. My main concern was for the kids. She told me the two that she had with the other guy are mad at her. That makes me sad, since they are the the siblings of my youngest kid. But she also said OUR kid doesn't really care about it, since he doesn't really get along with him.

We have a guy at work who will only drink water from the tea machine next to the sink. But the water to the sink and to the tea machine come from the exact same pipe, and neither are filtered.

I'm talking about sink design. And of course that differs for everyone too.

But for the most part people have deep kitchen sinks with tall faucets, and they have shallow bathroom sinks with stubby faucets.

You stick a glass under the kitchen faucet, and the water travels 6 or more inches to the bottom of the glass. In the bathroom, you might even have to tilt the glass to get it under, the water traveling a half inch and running down the side of the glass.

This is my theory, anyway.
