<p>Wow. I just downloaded a ton of Loverboy songs. I thought maybe for some reason SOMETHING good would be in the songs that I never picked up on years ago when they ruled the punk world. I dunno - like a cool guitar solo or something....</p><p>but no. they really ARE fucking gay and not even in a good homosexual way. They are just simply a sucky ass gay canadian band who must have sucked a lot of spunk to become one of&nbsp;rock and roll's biggest bands in the 80s. </p><p>people actually took those albums up to a counter and handed money to some clerk so they could take it home and listen to it.&nbsp; </p><p>loverboy. even the fucking name screams gay.&nbsp; and not even&nbsp;in a cool elton john kinda way. </p><p>turn me loose. </p><p>everyboyds working for the weekend. </p><p>almost paradise ( m&amp;m's actual got this whole thing rolling since they use this song ) </p><p>only the lucky ones - </p><p>queen of the broken hearts - </p><p>hot girls in love - </p><p>those were actual hits. </p><p>I went to see Loverboy when they were headlining arenas. I only went to see the opening band - The Hooters. Who are a great little rock &amp; roll band from Philly I think.
