I didnt see a thread for this, if there is one already, sorry. Also, this tread was totally inspired from ECCJCA's ECW clips in the You Tube Thread. So, all credit should go to him.

ECW's Legacy will never die. There were so many great moments, stars, moves that came out of it.

For me it was Dreamer and the Pit Bulls vs. The Bruise Brothers and Raven at the Elks Lodge in Queens. They fought out in the street and Tommy was tossed into the side of a passing bus on Queens Blvd. Priceless. Think Masters would take a bump like that?

My favorite has to be either the double Superbomb performed on Raven & Stevie Richards by one of the Pitbulls from the top rope through a table or Tommy Dreamer being chokeslammed by Big Dick Dudley off the balcony through like 6 tables stacked on top of one another.

how about Tommy being tazplexed off the balocny thru the tables? Or Tommy vs Brian Lee on the Skywalker Scaffolding with the tables below? Or the Sandman Raven Feud with his kid involved?

The fueds, storylines, characters, interaction with the fans was unlike anything I saw before or will see again.

I still think of the match when Benoit dropped Sabu on his head and broke his neck. It was Gruesome. I had bought a few of the ECW vhs tapes, i gotta find those....

There are too many to choose from. There were unbelievable moments in almost every event, broadcast and PPV. It was really an amazing fed and truly a golden era for wrestling.
It's a shame it went away, as all things must, and no matter how hard they try to re-create it, they never will. I'm just happy I got to experience and participate while it was in its heyday.

i really liked the invasion by Jerry Lawler. it was done great.

loved the Beulah vs Fonzie bloodbath. he was bleeding buckets. anytime he lowered his head it would rush out of him.

and just about anything with Elminators/Sabu and RVD/Dudleys/Gangstas/Headshrinkers/Public Enemy/Pitbulls

my favorite live moment was when Bigelow beat Douglas for the World Title. i was a huge fan of Douglas, but it came off as a huge shock and the whole Rude thing was cool. also cool that i saw the title change hands live.

Any promo by Nova and Blue Meanie during the bWo or their involvement with Raven were always great to watch. Foley's feud with Dreamer where he talked about what it's really like to be hardcore and when he brought out Mikey Whipwreck to win the tag team titles. Tazz suplexing Bigelow through the enterance ramp was a good sight, as well as Dreamer/Brian Lee in the scaffold match. Stone Cold's mocking of WCW was great. So many memories. So many tapes to help me remember them.

My favorite ECW moment however was when ECW was long and gone but was somewhat resurrected at Hardcore Homecoming. Being in that infamous bingo hall and watching incredible matches and feeling like I had traveled back in time to the glory days of ECW was just incredible. From the moment that Hat Guy walked in to the last bell of the night, just truly a memorable event.

Tazz choking Douglas out in the three minute challenge match for the TV title.

For sheer violence, I'd go with the Terry Funk-Sabu barbed wire match and the Axl Rotten-Ian Rotten Tai Pae death match.

For pure wrestling, it's by far the final Dean Malenko-Eddie Guerrero match.

Maybe this is a little cliche, but I think part of me will never get over seeing Sabu versus Sandman, the one where Sabu's jaw got broke. Actually, the Taz versus Sabu match where the clothesline from Taz knocked loose the screws in Sabu's jaw was pretty brutal too.
WWE creative wants an announcer that cant heat up the crowd and take a bump, Joel is the guy.

big i just took your 42 year old mother split her in half and treated her like 21 year old twins DudLEY!

gertner the greatest!

NO ONE EVER GOT HEAT LIKE THE DUDLEYS. thats one thing that got wasted by wwe/wwf when they went there, they never let them go out on the stick and cut loose.

My Favorite match was the Funker Terry Funk Vs. Sabu in the Barbed Wire rope match. And any match involving Mike Awesome against Tajiri.

I thought the crowd interaction was great whenever Super Crazy would have a guy in the corner. They would count to 10 in Spanish for every punch.

Dunno but one of the first events where Funk was in the ring alone and everyone was just flinging chairs into it, was insane

One that always got me was seeing the Van Daminator for the first time. That was such an exciting time in wrestling.
