No fucking way. Unless you want your cat spitting blood at you. You don't have to just live there though.
Relative of mine was renovating their house and they had to knock a wall down. Inside the wall was a human skeleton, that had apparently been there since the 17th century. They were fine living there, but I would've been freaked out and left. I've got enough to worry about without having to be freaked out about this.

I'd live there... if I had 3 guard dogs and someone to hold my hand at all times (preferably my mommy).

I would! I've always been fascinated with old abandoned insane asylums for some
reason. There was one up in the woods in a town near where I live that some
friends and I explored one day. It was weird how much stuff was left behind--old
beds, patient files and drawings still tacked to the walls, and little 4ft x 4ft cages!
Really creepy.

This was in Mass, and I think the house was from the 1680's, 1690's. So it was more like 300 years.
And was that that show that was on MTV? That was a pretty cool show. That's not still on isi t?

I think that show was "Fear" or something like that, but I would stay at this place..you could possibly hear some good stories about that place from the locals.

It's amazing that most of these 'hospitals' were closed up and folks
just were set free. Well, they were medicated, then set
free. Many of these hospitals have just been sitting probably
because of the stigma associated with their past. This WebRing documents a lot of these mental institutions and abandoned amusement parks and other strange shithe.
I don't think I could live in a renovated mental home. Too many ghosts.
