i think it was Bumble Bee who cursed in the movie...either him or the human that would always hang out with him. me and my brother thought him saying 'shit' was the best and we kept saying it to my mom who would get pissed...we tried the 'they said it in the movie' line to get out of trouble.

I was watching the movie the other day. It was pretty gay. There were so many 80's songs in it. Pretty funny. Orsen wells was the voice of unicron, or whatever that planet thing was called. And the guy from the breakfast club was in it too.

I of course loved Optimus Prime over all other Transformers, mainly because of his kickass voice on the cartoon. I think the idea of the live action Transformers movie being made is beyond stupid and unecessary, but they need to get Peter Cullen back to do the voice. I still hear him doing voiceovers for commercials and movie trailers he still owns.

But beyond Prime, I really liked Shockwave. Dude had the weird face that was just one glowing eye, and he turned into a huge purple gun. He was like the Prince of Transformers.

Overall, I really couldn't stand the toys. Loved the TV show and comics, probably a little too much, but the toys were always such letdowns. The vehicles looked great, but the robot forms usually looked nothing like how they did in the cartoons and comic, which in my mind was how they were supposed to look.

My friends were evenly split between the Dinobots and Insecticons as far as teams went.

And for some reason, Jazz was more beloved than Optimus Himself. Me, I liked Hot Rod.

But anytime I think about kid toys I can't help but think of this kid Jimmy Kennedy. His family would come down from North Jersey every Summer. He was what Ronnie would call a "Waterhead". And to make up for that, I guess, his parents got him Every. Toy. Imaginable.

He had all the coolest toys before anyone else. He had toys that I didn't even know existed. Death Star Playsets, Cybertron, strange G.I Joe stuff etc.

So this made him very popular with all the neighborhood kids. The only problem was, quite literally, his Superhuman strength and inability to control it. For some reason any playtime would result in wrestling, followed by four kids trying to pull him off of some unlucky bastard. As mean as kids can be, we were never really mean to lil Jimmy Kennedy. I owe it all to his endless supply of super cool toys. His parents were goddamn GENIUSES!

I'm still waiting for both Voltron DVDs to come out. I liked them both, but the vehicle version was hard to find after time. Also, Lance kicked ass compared to the fucking princess angle they went with later.

Here's a great site: http://voltron.purrsiathunder.net/index.php

Perhaps we should start a separate thread for this.

Nope, that was Keith and he never left/went missing. Lance split early in the series and the princess took his place. Auuuk.

I was wrong, Lance was the Red Lion and Sven indeed was the old Blue Lion.

"Allura-pilot of Blue Lion (In place of Sven), right leg of Voltron. I've seen MUCH prettier women here on Planet Doom, like my girlfriend, the Dark Princess!"
