Kingdom Hearts II

<p>Kingdom Hearts 2 came out a couple days ago. I have it, but haven't played it yet, I'm still finishing Suikoden 5. Anyone else play it yet? How is it? I was really looking forward to the first one and it was still much better than I thought it would be. Much better than it had any business being. Hell, I'm just fucking psyched because for once there's an RPG where the sequel actually picks up where the last one left off. The closest thing to that had been the aforementioned Suikoden where new games take place in the same world, feature some of the minor characters from previous games, but don't follow one continous story. Chrono Cross was a little like that too, with some cameos from and a story somewhat related to Chrono Trigger.</p><p>Anyway, I'm looking forward to playing it.</p>

<p>Can't give any info on it but I am curious about it. I didnt play the first one because I couldnt see myself digging a disney themed video game. But with all the hype surrounding the sequel Im thinking I should try out both.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>I think Sheepy means the battle with Riku in CoM.&nbsp; I could never beat him either.&nbsp; I'm fucking stuck in the middle of that game.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>I recently pulled out the original KH to play with my 3 (almost 4) year old nephew.&nbsp; It's annoying how long it takes for you to meet up with Donald and Goofy.&nbsp; He wants to play with the disney characters, but the game really delays that. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>I beat Chain of Memories, but all I remember is meeting up with the belt Mummy guy at the very end. Maybe I'm forgetting something, but it didn't seem to do much more than introduce a new bunch of characters and another group.</p><p>BTW, Suikoden 5 is fantastic.<br /></p>

<p>The first 3 hours of this game confused me SO MUCH that I had to go back and read plot summaries about Kingdom Hearts and Chain of Memories. Chain of Memories was actully much more important to the plot than I realized, especially Riku's quest. I actually forgot a lot of important stuff from that game.</p><p>Still, I'm only half sure about what's going on.&nbsp;</p>

I read that it is called anti-form, and happens randomly when you try to turn into some of the drive forms.</p><p>This shouldn't spoil anything, but this game's ending is perfect. As much as I love this series, they could never outdo it, so I almost hope there isn't a sequel. In fact, I wish there was nothing after the credits. It was one of the best endings I've ever seen or read in any piece of entertainment. Also, unlike the insane ending of the first, this game had mostly everything wrapped up. I wasn't confused or wondering about anything, it was all wrapped up nicely.<br /></p>

<p>I finaly beat Kingdom hearts chain of Memories </p><p>now i will start Kingdom hearts 2 <br />
</p><p>so it took me over a year to beat a gameboy game i did stop
playing for a while and didn't know the select button is how i unlock
the special cards to use in battle then i did the riku game in like 13
hours but it was like a totaly of 60 hours of game play logged in total
thats one hell of a game i say</p><p>man kingdom hearts is the best game series <br />

wow now if you started this game with out beating chain of memories
then you didn not get your mind blown by the opening movie well not so
much blown but full of excitment and thillingness yeah ill keep posting
in this while i play the game man I can't wait till i get to steam boat
