I know that nobody will believe me but, I actually tried to develop this technology several years ago.

Using water/mist as a screen for projecting 3D images.
My dream was to have it be used onstage with The Blue Man Group so that the Blue Men could interact with the "ghosts" of dead rockstars.

It was deemed "impossible" back in 2004.

This is what I was TRYING to achieve. Check it out:

You can click on "Watch In High Quality". Is this something new? If it is, is it something that you set up when you upload the video? Anyone know anything about this?

Some of my newer YT videos have that feature. I don't have a great camera or do anything special when uploading though. Very surprised to see that option when viewing them.

When I was growing my my friends brother had a tree removal business and one day his axle broke, and he used the boom of the truck to lift itself up and he was able to safely drive the truck back home without wheels under the back end. It was weird to see and cool at the same time in concept.

YouTube privacy at risk in Google-Viacom ruling

Google scored a legal victory in keeping its search source code secret from Viacom, but YouTube users were not so fortunate with their privacy.

... the judge granted a Viacom motion that records of every video watched by YouTube users, including their login names and IP addresses, be turned over to the entertainment giant.

The Electronic Frontier Foundation called the ruling a threat to YouTube users' privacy.
