Great video. I look into this. This girl was born severely deaf and although learned to lip read and speak, she never heard her own voice. That's why she speaks normal. Amazing technology.

I had a uncle Jack that was deaf and he could feel the vibrations really well.

We had a family reunion once and the band was rocking. Everybody was dancing and cutting the rug. My uncle Jack was dancing up a storm when the band stopped a minute and someone passed a hat around. When it got to him he reached in the hat and started pocketing the money. My mom stopped him and said "no, no uncle Jack, that's for the band" He said, band hell I didnt hear a damn thing!
