There's also <a href="http://www2.writely.com/" target="_self">Writely</a> that Google recently bought that looks promising. Requires registration though.

They are free online word-processors which is cool especially if you are at a computer that doesn't have one. I think the plan as far as I know is to eventually make an entire office suite like Excel, Powerpoint, etc that is online and web-based.
