Hmm, I'd say Big Band but that doesn't seem right either.&nbsp; It's like carnival music.

It's not jazz. It's not a jazz tune or a jazz arrangement. I don't know any jazz musician that'd put it in his repertoire. It doesn't swing. if anything it's some mutant from laurence welk with a slight latin bounce.

What about the Jetson's theme? That sounds like more than a jingle--some rockin'
big band jazz orchestral sound there!

<p>I did a little research and found that the theme was composed by Edd Kalehoff.&nbsp;&nbsp;A quick glance at IMDB gives us a good idea of his musical &quot;pedigree&quot;. If there's any question to the musical merits of his work look at some of his other contributions&nbsp;of TV themes:</p><ol><li><a href="http://www.ronfez.net/title/tt0264258/" name="composer2000">&quot;History IQ&quot;</a> (2000) <font size="2">TV&nbsp;Series</font> </li><li><a href="http://www.ronfez.net/title/tt0273327/">&quot;2 Minute Drill&quot;</a> (2000) <font size="2">TV&nbsp;Series</font> (uncredited) <br /><br /></li><li><a href="http://www.ronfez.net/title/tt0157240/" name="composer1990">&quot;The Price Is Right&quot;</a> (1993) <font size="2">TV&nbsp;Series</font> (uncredited) <br /><br /></li><li><a href="http://www.ronfez.net/title/tt0255741/" name="composer1980">&quot;Make the Grade&quot;</a> (1989) <font size="2">TV&nbsp;Series</font> </li><li><a href="http://www.ronfez.net/title/tt0387786/">&quot;Think Fast&quot;</a> (1989) <font size="2">TV&nbsp;Series</font> </li><li><a href="http://www.ronfez.net/title/tt0477508/">&quot;Family Double Dare&quot;</a> (1989) <font size="2">TV&nbsp;Series</font> </li><li><a href="http://www.ronfez.net/title/tt0094459/">&quot;Family Double Dare&quot;</a> (1988) <font size="2">TV&nbsp;Series</font> <br />... aka Fox Family Double Dare (USA: syndication title) </li><li><a href="http://www.ronfez.net/title/tt0264247/">&quot;Finders Keepers&quot;</a> (1987) <font size="2">TV&nbsp;Series</font> </li><li><a href="http://www.ronfez.net/title/tt0092457/">&quot;Super Sloppy Double Dare&quot;</a> (1987) <font size="2">TV&nbsp;Series</font> </li><li><a href="http://www.ronfez.net/title/tt0125616/">&quot;Double Dare&quot;</a> (1986) <font size="2">TV&nbsp;Series</font> </li><li><a href="http://www.ronfez.net/title/tt0198255/">&quot;Trivia Trap&quot;</a> (1984) <font size="2">TV&nbsp;Series</font> </li><li><a href="http://www.ronfez.net/title/tt0085056/">&quot;The Match Game/Hollywood Squares Hour&quot;</a> (1983) <font size="2">TV&nbsp;Series</font> (theme) </li><li><a href="http://www.ronfez.net/title/tt0198087/">&quot;Child's Play&quot;</a> (1982) <font size="2">TV&nbsp;Series</font> </li><li><a href="http://www.ronfez.net/title/tt0439096/">&quot;Tuesday Night Fights&quot;</a> (1982) <font size="2">TV&nbsp;Series</font> <br /><br /></li><li><a href="http://www.ronfez.net/title/tt0127991/" name="composer1970">&quot;Card Sharks&quot;</a> (1978) <font size="2">TV&nbsp;Series</font> (1986-1989) <br />... aka The New Card Sharks (USA: new title) </li><li><a href="http://www.ronfez.net/title/tt0198193/">&quot;Now You See It&quot;</a> (1974) <font size="2">TV&nbsp;Series</font> (alternate theme song) </li><li><a href="http://www.ronfez.net/title/tt0071063/">&quot;Tattletales&quot;</a> (1974) <font size="2">TV&nbsp;Series</font> </li><li><a href="http://www.ronfez.net/title/tt0258364/">&quot;The NewsCenter&quot;</a> (1974) <font size="2">TV&nbsp;Series</font> (original music) (1980-1990, 1992-present) <br />... aka NewsCenter 4 (USA: informal alternative title) </li><li><a href="http://www.ronfez.net/title/tt0198094/">&quot;Concentration&quot;</a> (1973) <font size="2">TV&nbsp;Series</font> (theme) </li><li><a href="http://www.ronfez.net/title/tt0313080/">&quot;Girl In My Life&quot;</a> (1973) <font size="2">TV&nbsp;Series</font> </li><li><a href="http://www.ronfez.net/title/tt0068120/">&quot;The New Price Is Right&quot;</a> (1972) <font size="2">TV&nbsp;Series</font> (also theme) <br />... aka The Price Is Right (USA: new title) </li><li><a href="http://www.ronfez.net/title/tt0067576/">Pigeons</a> (1971) <br />... aka The Sidelong Glances of a Pigeon Kicker </li><li><a href="http://www.ronfez.net/title/tt0224233/">Temples of Time</a> (1971) <br />... aka Temples du temps (Canada: French title) </li></ol><p><br /><br /></p>

Is it not all in line with the themes of shows like The Tonite Show or Late Night with David Letterman?
