why wouldn't the Dolphins be a threat? if Culpepper is healthy thats a big upgrade at QB. They have a really good WR, a good TE and a good young RB. They also helped their line with the pickup of Shelton. They were playing good towards the end of the year last year. you never know in the NFL. I also wouldn't be shocked to see TO end up in Miami...though the Cowboys are probably the favorites after dumping Keyshawn.

Once again my team the Chiefs aren't doing anything. they are an aging team and if they want to make a superbowl push the time is now. they still have the offense to get there, but the defense isn't improved. soon the O-Line will retire and its time to start over.

the bengals have entered the Arrington sweepstakes. Who belives that quote from Marvin Lewis about LaVar being the most undisciplined player he's ever coached, now?

Plus the people reportedly lobbying for Arrington to stay in the NFC East are Pierce in NY and Trotter in Philly, both former Skins who played with him at LB. Wouldn't these people being the least likely to want him if he missed assignments like everyone seems to think???

Let's the betting begin. Who thinks that Miami is a threat NOW?

playoffs but not a super bowl. he has the physical capabilities but not the mental capability. unless Miami obtains a top notch defense and Duante just does enough to not lose the game...

The Eagles signed Jeff Garcia and Jabar Gaffney today. They've already signed Darren Howard and Matt Schobel.

Redskins traded Pat Ramsey to the Jets. That means he will become a star within two years and the skins will be kicking themselves as usual for letting him go. Doesn't mean the Jets will be any better, though.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/03/17/AR2006031701264.html

Terrell Owens is officially a Dallas Cowboy.

I guess after dumping Keyshawn last week they decided they needed another pain in the ass receiver to take his place.

Jeff Garcia and Donovan McNabb weren't good enough for him, and now he thinks DREW fucking BLEDSOE will do the trick?
Honestly, I think with the record money he's reported to be making and
the fact that Parcells is there, I dont see Owens being out of line.

He'll be good for one season........ if that. Book it.

Commissioner Paul Tagliabue announced he's retiring in July.

The NFL will be hard pressed to find someone to fill his shoes.

Also, the Detroit Lions and Joey Harrington officially parted ways today. I'm still undecided about Harrington; the kid had to endure 3 different head coaches in 4 years. I wonder what he'd be like in a stable environment with a half-decent offensive line.

He does things, like Randy Moss, but also works hard and blocks. McMichael is solid too, man I hope they piss on the jets

I have no doubts about the likes of Chambers or Randy M, just Dante. He was plain brutal last year w/o Moss, and now his wheels are all but gone. Saban will surely limit his running and devise much better game plans on his worst days than Tice on his best, but Dante needs to show me something this year. He fucked my fantasy team last year bad! Chambers surely does still move up the ranks now, but third may be a little too high. I have him at the back end of the top ten. You still have the duo (Wayne & Harrison) in Indy now w/o a great RB, Owens resurfacing in big D, C. Johnson in Cincy making a bid at #1, Walker (??) coming off a big injury to a crazy QB situation, Horn finally has a QB in NO, Steve Smith and his crazy speed and talent in Carolina, Hines Ward (the total package) in Pitt, Holt and his "Big Game" in St. Louis, and finally the new young duo in Zona (Boldin and Fitzgerald). For me, Chambers needs to put up a big year first, especially since Dante is suspect right now.

Ward might have topped that list a few years ago, but his lack of speed puts him probably at the bottom of that list right now. Granted, that still makes him #5 in the NFL, but I think it goes Smith, Johnson, Boldin, Chambers, Harrison (I know, he won't take a hit, blah, blah, blah - he's still that good), Ward, Moss &/or TO (on the plays they don't take off)...but that's probably splitting hairs.

Seriously, the way these guys are getting in trouble, you would think they wee a mid-90s dynasty. Fellas, it goes (1) Win the Super Bowl, (2) Get arrested. When you do it the other way around, you usually don't get to the second step.

Apparently he told the Jets' brass back in April that they might want to think about drafting a RB early in the draft. Maybe you should listen to your players when they're politely telling you that they are in bad shape. I almost feel bad for the Jets.
