This comes from the great Commonwealth of Virginia. (i live right over the border in Murrrraland.)

VA To Approve XM Tax - 3/7 - Inside Radio has more on that 5 percent tax Virginia residents will soon be paying on their XM or Sirius satellite radio service. The new "communications and use tax" will also hit cable and satellite TV services as well as cell phones. It passed both houses 2-to-1 and Governor Tim Kaine leans toward signing the bill.....

Virginia is still trying to recover from the financial position the
last Republican governor put us in. I would be against this tax,
but anything that helps fund fixing the traffic problems around here
is fine with me.
Good think I'm on the family plan through mom mother's account. She lives 5 miles over the VA border in WVA, and that's where the account is billed to.
