I'm only posting that here because it's the tiebreaker in our Oscar contest. I've got a long train ride tomorrow, so I'll figure out who won tomorrow morning.

but landed on her front

STOP JUDGING THE OSCARS!

I hold them to standards because I believe in there mythical status
that if the movie wins best picture it is in fact best picture of the year

I like the older movies that have won best picture i watch the apartment and
just completely enjoy it I watch the Best years of our lives every year It's
and amazing movie

I still believe they can pick a movie that’s amazing again the Weinstein’s
ruined the Oscar system or maybe not ruined but they exploited it with
perfection and now everything has a bad aftertaste

If Crash was made by Spike Lee nobody would call it layered

Yeah it's layered its a multi confectioned angled story
Seen that kind of movie a dozens of times

What’s the main story? That humanity in LA is Awful and does everything race
motivated and that apparently if someone asks you a question you should yell
and scream at them instead of answering everyone in the movie acts like a 15
year olds

It's like a children’s movie they can show it to middle school students and
you know what they would do they would just turn to there Spanish friend and
ask why they park on lawns

In the end Crash is Watch able but who can watch it twice there no surprises
then and nothing is left but the hilarious dialog

I don't have to see it again but I can make a stink
all I want I am not going to tell people not to watch it and it really doesn't
effect my daily living I just think it's a silly story

I’m going to keep caring about the Oscars and Independent sprit awards it’s
the best weekend for movie entertainment enjoyment there are a lot of good movie’s
coming out this year so let’s see what happens next

That little guitar thingy was her purse. It's worth thousands of dollars. Whateverrrr.

BTW, How come Don Knotts didn't make into the montage-of-death?

Or Darin McGavin? Or Dennis Weaver?

I think Knotts is associated more with TV than movies. He'll get a bigger tribute at the Emmys. He should anyway: he won 5.

Something that no one saw coming would have been a movie other than Brokeback and Crash winning; it was a given that one of those two would have won. And I'm not going to go chasing down a critics picks, but I know some people picked Crash.
