My father works as a dentist and his assistant for more then 15 years has a family tragedy. Her 12 year old son is now blind because he has a brain tumor in the frontal lobe of the brain that pressed on his optic nerves. The Doctors removed alot of the tumor but a good portion is still there. He is still blind and it looks like he will be for the rest of his life....barring a miracle. Also the tumor is cancerous and is still life threatening also.</font></p><p><font size="2">Obviously the family is hoping for the best but the medical insurance goes only so far.</font></p><p><font size="2">My father is selling 50-50 tickets in his office to help with the expencies for the family.</font></p><p><font size="2">The childs name is Danny Laratta Jr. His Father is Dan Sr. and mom is Michelle. I know alot of people might think this is some kind of joke but it is not.</font></p><p><font size="2">The raffle is set for March 15. If anyone is interested each ticket is only 5 dollars.</font></p><p><font size="2">I am setting up a Pay Pal account for those people who live too far for me to go and deliver the tickets in person. Also for those people too far away I will need your address so I know where to mail them too.</font></p><p><font size="2">If you are interested please let me know via PM as well as on the board. I need those too. <p>Bit of an update...</p><p>they were able to finally remove ALL of the tumor from his brain...but the poor kid is still blind. Doctors still do not know if he will ever get his sight back.</p><p>He is going thru alot right now. He does not want to even see his friends. Poor kid is withdrawing.</p><p>Thanks for all you good people who helped/are helping with the 50-50.</p><p>God bless ya!</p>

<p>The ticket was won by a patient of my fathers. Guy lives in West Caldwell or Caldwell or something like that.</p><p>The eventual pot was over 7,000.00 and over 80% of it went to the family.
