Loved this movie. Chappelle is just laid back and funny in this
movie and the performances are amazing. All done with a live
band. Go check it out, a throwback to the great concert movies.
Damn right. Incredible performances like Jill Scott and Erykah Badu backed by the Roots, and Kanye West doing Jesus Walks backed by a marching band, and some comedy and heartwarming bits from Chappelle. My only fault with the movie is that I want to see more of that damned concert! Hopefully they'll put some extended coverage on the DVD.
Yeah, I was suprised that I wanted to hear more of the concert. Every time i got into it they would cut to something else. Something that was hilarious but still i wanted more music. Hopefully it'll be played in full on the soundtrack or the DVD.

It's a documentary about a concert Chappelle put on in Brooklyn in September 2004. It followed him as he gave away tickets to the show and his little bits he did in between performances. Performers were Kanye West, The Roots, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, Dead Prez, Mos Def , Common and probably some other people I'm forgetting. Funny stuff, and really nice performances if you don't hate hip hop. Some of the stuff, like with Jill Scott and Erykah Badu, wasn't even really hip hop, they were backed by Hendrix-type music. I really think the music will appeal to outside hip hop fans, but I can't guarantee it. if you have an open mind to music, I think you will enjoy it.
