I picked up the CD yesterday. It's not bad. His music may not be the best and his lyrics are unoriginal and all about himself, but the man puts on a fun, energetic, rocking live show that is what music is supposed to be, entertaining. I don't know why you need to be anti-establishment, under the radar, and obscure to be relevent. Professional musicians are out there to make money, and he does that. If they were there just for the art, they would have real jobs.
