We all have them. Lets compare notes. Who do you think will be a sleeper this year? A young player? An older player who will find his swing like Bonds or Thomas. Share away.

Hey guys,

Older guys that could have a great year:

Torii Hunter: Minnesota.

This guy can play! Even though last year he didn't have such a good year, he's gonna steal some bases and drive in runs. Look for him in late rounds if you need an outfielder.

Paul LoDuca: New York Mets.

The Mets are stacked this year offensively. They may have the best lineup in the league. Last year, once again not a good year, but look at his numbers in the past. He'll hit lower in the lineup after Delgado and you know he'll be on base.

Adrian Beltre: Seattle.

Another guy with a rough last season. He reported to camp early and is playing well already. Grab this guy in last rounds of your draft. Seattle should have a good offense this year.

Young guys ready for a breakout year.

Mark Prior: Chicago Cubs.

This guy is a great pitcher. He's had some freak injuries in the past, but he's got the best stuff in the majors. Look for a 20 win 300 strikeout year here.

Huston Street: Oakland.

Street could be the best closer in the game. And he's developing a change-up. Granted he's unproven, he could have a huge year.

Thanks for listening.

Paul

Wasn't Sizemore a sleeper last year?

And who saw Cordero coming? The guy was an unknown rookie....At least Huston Street had some Rep coming out of Texas...

Utley? doesn't a 'sleeper' have to be someone who won't be picked in the first 2 rounds. he was a sleeper last year, but alot of cheatsheets this year have him ranked as the #1 second basemen.

I too like Cain. He should help you in ks and be a solid number 3 ptcher for you if not a number 2.

As for Uttley being a sleepr!?!?!?? He was a sleeper last year.

My all sleeper team:

C - Josh Willingham, Fla...Projected starter batting ca. 6th
1B - Ryan Howard, Phi....Maybe not a sleeper but not well known either
2B - Luis Castillo, Min....no longer injured, solid contact hitter, no power
3B - Garrett Atkins, Col...bet you didn't know he had almost 90 RBI in 519 AB 2005
SS - Bobby Crosby, Oak...sleeper? not sure...expect a big year
OF - Grady Sizemore, Cle...sleeper? not sure again...he's for real though
SP - Felix Hernandez, Sea...A Sleeper in Seattle...he's there #1 starter s
RP - BJ Ryan, Tor...So many opportunities this year, and in big spots...responds?
L. Castillo is an interesting pick. Many people including myself think he has nothing left. For the last few years his caught stealing numbers are alarmingly high but if he can get his speed back he can be a nice steal. GET IT STEAL! I KNOCK ME OUT!

I has Griffey last year and he was a fantasy stud, I plan on taking him high this year. He's not really a "sleeper", just someone with a ton of past injuries that is amazing when healthy.
