Unfortunately he walked off the court half-way through the 1st period because he said it was "time for Wapner"

But seriously, check out this video: http://www.wpxi.com/sports/7398385/detail.html#

Story Linky: http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/02/23/earlyshow/main1339324.shtml

"And, in his first action of the year, McElwain missed his first two shots, but then sank six three-pointers and another shot, for a total of 20 points in three minutes."

"It happened in Greece, NY, where a high school basketball manager came off the bench and started shooting the lights out.

I didn't read all of the post, and I honestly thought some poor autistic boy caught on fire caused by falling sparks from a manager shooting the lights out with a gun.

That was so freakin' cool. I couldn't shoot like that if I wanted too. Good for him!

Another true, real life "Rudy" story. I actually got choked up watching the morning news yesterday.

The fact that he was a "highly functioning autistic", on top of being a 5' 6" white kid? I mean, come on!

How long until Hollywood spits this out onto the Big Screen? You couldn't write a story any better than this.

Great story, gave me goose bumps. But, if it was true to the title of the thread, would have been better.
