Both Eddie Murphy CD's are classic. I just listened to comedian again for the first time in like 10 years and its still funny, This may sound corny but that album is timeless

<p>I'm big on Dane Cook (RETALIATION is my fave), David Cross (both records), and of course, George Carlin (almost all of it).</p><p> </p><p>I just acquired a cd by a female comedian that is ACTUALLY funny! LISA LAMPANELLI = TAKE IT LIKE A MAN. Good stuff.</p><p>I also heard some material by a chick named Maria Bamford (or possibly Bramford). She was also quite good. Not the usual my-boyfriend-is-a-handful stuff.</p>

It's quite obvious that Leary lifted his entire act from a dying man. </p><p>And when you think about how bad Leary's post "Cancer" stand-up material is, you realize that Hicks is dead and Leary actually had to write it himself. Hence....not funny.</p>

<p>I have collected comedy albums since the days of Bob Newhart, Woody Allen, Bill Cosby, Jonathan Winters, Richard Pryor and Brooks and Reiner doing the 2000 year old man bit. I've even taped almost every HBO comedy special (short and long) since the 80's. Given this, the two greatest comedy albums <em><font size="2"><strong>by far</strong></font></em> (in my opinion) are:</p><p><img border="0" src="http://img170.imageshack.us/img170/1858/leary1qg1.jpg" /></p><p>and</p><p><img border="0" src="http://img170.imageshack.us/img170/8437/leary2kh3.jpg" /></p><p> </p>
