I have nothing against it...but i dont get how a person can get into it. All i hear is lotsa growls and snarls..and amateur drums. Is anything recommended?

I actually kinda dig Slayer, Carcass, Bile and Napalm Death. Its all good

Death metal isn't my slice'o'pie eather... There's a death metal band at my school... It's throaty, they're just yelling from the top of their lungs. No actual singing voice, and no musical talent.

Well by all means Charlie, please judge all Death Metal bands by your school's bad one.

And a Double Bass kit is the way to be! 2 bass drums! Lars played with a double kit until he stopped sleeping with women, and helped write Load.

And I'll get behind any Metal project The Care Bears are involved with.

The music is SUPPOSED to be loud, angry, throaty, ballsy, Crunchy, fast, aggresive, and is NOT meant for everyone. Just as Fag rock like Everclear, Korn, Blink 182, and No Doubt are not meant for people like me.
