They keep bringing him up and still call him their producer.

What's the story with that? Shouldn't they just write him off and move on?

Well, he either quit, or was fired. Neither one of those would surprise me. Which ever it was I'm sure it down a while ago and they were just making a joke out of it until they could line up a replacement.

Harry's a really good kid who's obviously going through a pretty tough time in his life for whatever reason.

I wish him well in whatever he winds up doing.
I didn't sign a release when I interned at WNEW, and Spaz started as an intern at WNEW.

He called once and got hung up on - because exactly that - his threat of a lawsuit was a betrayal to O&A, and once you're "dead" to them there's no coming back.

There are so many golden bits with Spaz - and I'm pretty sure NONE of them have been played on XM, even though WNEW bits have slowly but surely working their way into the Worst-Of rotations.

EDIT: That may also be another part of the explanation why Spaz's name is banned from Wackbag, and a more logical explanation.

But for some reason, they are allowed to say all kinds of things
they wouldn't normally get away with when they are not on the
air. I don't know why, but things like sexual harrassment (which
I think is bigger deal than Harry's situation) don't seem to apply to
DJs when they are on the air. And they haven't really said
anything bad about him, just that they don't know where he is.

I don't see why he would be fired. He was boring on the air but I never heard too much about him screwing up behind the scenes.

I bet something personal came up. May be he is concentrating on school or something. East Side Dave will be a good replacement.
