Which one is the best?
Myfi
Tao
pioneer

Are they all the same as far as quality goes??

I saw the tao for $99 after rebates in target and I was looking to see if it's equal to the others.

I know about the new xm/mp3 player comming out soon and I don't want to invest in it just yet.

I can't wait till the new Pioneer unit comes out next month.  I'm just the sucker who won't wait for the price to drop.  I bought my MyFi @ $299 when it first came out and I carry it everywhere.  So I'll end up dropping the $400 on the new unit as soon as it hits the stores.

I've had all 3 of the original portables, and they're all the same, and they don't work well in Baltimore where there is little or no signal redundancy. Can't tell the difference between my old Myfi and new Airware, besides the former is broken. Prolly all exactly the same, but from what I read the TAO is the most durable.

myfi all the way.  cheapest and therefore most expendable when the next gen models or gen 3 come out, and if you don't want a new one you'll still have a pretty solid unit.  personally im gonna hold onto my myfi till i see whats coming way down the road like next year.

They're really all the same.  I bought the Tao for my girlfriend cos I liked the look of it.  The only downside to it is that it you can't put it on hold unless it's already on, so sometimes it can accidentally get turned on and you'll pull a dead Tao out of your backpack.

You know, with this shit Ron and Fez timeslot, shit replays at midnight and now their weekend replays getting bumped for "Free FM" O&A with rehashed "best of" shit all the time, I'm not making ANY new XM purchases even if the old portables drop in price.Fuck XM.  I'm about ready to downgrade my sub to Online Only and see where O&A shove Ron and Fez next.

Ooooooooooooooooooooooooh I love the Inno. It's really tiny and I don't notice it in my pocket, unlike the MyFi which was pretty bulky.

Also being able to delete individual tracks or sessions (like todays O&A) without erasing everything is great. The fast forwarding is a bit slow, but it's good if I need to use it. Putting the MP3's on it is pretty simple as well. Just drag into the folder.

This is my last XM radio for a while after retiring my Roady2 and MyFi.

I'm not sure how many MP3's it holds, I haven't had a lot of time to add any yet. The reception is real strong and I don't use antenna earbuds.

DO NOT BUY THE TAO!I got mine about a month before RandF hit the airwaves, so some time at the end of July/early August.  Since then, it has been falling apart ever since.  Slowly but surely, function after function has not been working.  and here they are: <ul><li>the power button is permenantly depressed and i can only turn it on/off if it is in a cradle WITH the remote.</li><li>none of the lights on the buttons work.</li><li>the earphone jack is messed up so if you SLIGHTY move the earphone input, they cut out.</li><li>it doesn't respond well with my car hookup.  sometimes it refuses to turn on with the remote.</li><li>the paint is starting to come off the numbers.</li></ul>now, take all of these knowing that i do NOT beat the S out of my player.  I use it like any normal person would.I called up to find out what they can do for me and they actually said that they would replace it for me.  They ALSO said that I need to send them this unit and in ten business days I will have a new one.  Now, I understand that they are not going to just send me a new one without proof, BUT IF THEY REALLY THINK THAT IT WOULD ONLY TAKE TEN BUSINESS DAYS FOR ME TO GET ONE, THEY ARE CRAZY.  Three months from now I would be calling and getting ten different people on the line till I finally find out that, "yeah, it should be there in a couple days."  yeah right.WAIT TILL THE NEW UNITS COME OUT AND SPEND THE MONEY.
