There's a new version of AIM out, not sure how many people have tried it. I kinda like it. You can actually get your AOL screen name's mail through it, and that means you can cancel your AOL account if you just keep it for mail.

Anyway, there's a "radio" button on the bottom right of your buddy list screen that allows you to open AOL's radio stuff, and in there you have an XM tab. There's a lot of stuff in there. Most of the Decades stuff, Ethel, Fred, probably all of AOL's exclusive XM stations and a few more. There's actually A LOT of music stations in there including a Death Metal, Black Metal and just Metal station. The bandwidth is horrendous though.

I just thought it was an interesting option, a nice plug for XM and wanted to give people a quick heads up to both the radio option and the new AIM features I've found.

I've been using it for about 2 weeks now.. Haven't had any problems through my cable modem. You can also get some free video's if you fish around. No high voltage(xm202) though.

I agree 1000 percent(quoting the black girl on Maury speaking on paternity results) that aol stinks...I am getting this through aol im..love the option...still hate aol...watching the John Cena video for bad man and the jessica simpson dukes of hazzard video gives me all the reason in the world to keep my free aolim account

Yea, we should keep bumping this.

ATTENTION!

You can now keep your current AOL screen name through the newest AIM program, along with your mailbox and you can access a lot of online radio stations, including XM stations.

DUMP AOL TODAY IF YOU USE ANOTHER METHOD TO CONNECT TO THE INTERNET.

Go to AIM.com. Download the latest versino of AIM called AIM Triton and install it. Make sure you set it up to access your screen name, make sure you see your mailbox the same as in AOL. Once you have all that in place, call AOL and tell them to eat your raw, unwashed, 4 day old cranky ass because GayOL is for faggots and you use DSL, Cable or whatever else you want.

I've been using a couple of weeks. It looks fancy and all, but I never talk to anyone on IM, so it doesn't mean that much to me. As for losing subscribers if you can listen to 202... I'd think the only ones they'd lose are people who only listen at home. It wouldn't do much for people who listen in their car.

yea i used Triton for about a week, then i realized it was sucking my system resources and memory like crazy, i was down to like 5%, and i have a power gaming machine with an Intel D chip. Triton uses up a ton of memory on anyones system and will slow it down, there have been numerous reports of it online. Maybe its because i had the beta version but i doubt it has changed much, it has too many things on it that slows your system down, beware it one day it will hit you and you will wonder why the fuck is my computer running so shitty.
