<p><strong><a href="http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-raiders-shell&prov=ap&type=lgns" target="_self">Art Shell hired as Raiders head coach</a></strong></p><p>Shell, who had been working as the senior vice president of football operations and development for the NFL, hasn't been a head coach since the Raiders fired him following the 1994 season in a move Davis has said he still regrets. </p><p>I don't have much love for the Raiders (damn them for beating the Skins in the Superbowl), but I found this interesting. I'm wondering when they'll hire John Madden again.</p>

I'll never forget the look on Art Shell's face when he played the Bills in the playoffs in 90. He looked completely clueless about what to do, and the game was over in the first quarter. First 5 minutes, really they lost 51-3. <br />

They's have a better chance if they hired Shelle Bink!&nbsp; There's a reason someone gets passed over this many times, and it's has nothing to do with Ani D. !!!
