Ron mentioned a few days ago that he loved McDonald's Sausage & Egg McMuffins, and I wholeheartedly agree. My problem has always been that I'm never near a McDonald's before 10:30AM. Well... problem solved.

Around Northern VA and Pennsylvania, there is a convenience store called Sheetz. I'm not sure where else they are. They sell their version, made to order and called a Sausage & Egg Shmuffin. I have to say, these things are, not only BETTER that McMuffins, but you can order them 24 hours a day! You can get two of them for around $2.50, and they FREAKIN' ROCK!!!

Anyone else ever try these tasty gems of sausage and egg heaven?

i live in michigan now, but in my trips from Jersey to Michigan or during phish tour i use to stop at Sheetz or Shitz as it is properly called because thats what the MTO gives you. I love that place...their fake slurpees are amazing.

Sausage Egg and Cheese McGriddles are crack. If I didn't wake up at 1:00PM everyday I'd go every morning.

If you don't get the Sheetz/Shitz after a good sausage meal, it ain't real sausage. I look at it as gastrointestinal lubrication. Its a good thing!

There are a couple of them right up the street from me (in two different directions
of course). I like them because they're big, well lit and clean. Not like 7-11's which
are like slums now. I fear for my life everytime I go into one of those.

I saw those things in rest stops on trips out west and south with Unhallowed. Never stopped in one, but if everyone says they're OK I'll try one next time I'm on the road.

ANYTHING'S gotta be better than Hardees. Fucking Heart Attack on a greasy muffin. Blech.
