Wrestling Video games

After reading the discussion on fire pro wrestling the video game, I just wanted to know the opinion of the Ron and Fez fan base on which is the best wrestling video game to buy. I know the Smackdown games are the best but i wanted to by some old school stuff like Wrestlemania Arcade and fire pro wrestling.

career mode in raw vs smackdown is good....and i miss the old arcade wrestling game, i forgot the name but i was always starman, he wore a pink outfit with a bluestar on his mask

I think that the new Smackdown vs. RAW 2k6 for PS2 is pretty good.&nbsp; The Create A Wrestler is very in depth.&nbsp; Season mode isn't bad but it is short.&nbsp; You can make anyone you want a champion in exhibition matches.<br />

No cheats in this game.&nbsp; However there are formulas for creating TNA and ROH and ECW guys in the Create-A-Wrestler section.&nbsp; You can search online.<br />

My favorite is SD! vs Raw 2006. I was able to make an identical likenesses of myself, friends &amp; other wrestlers&nbsp;with the Create-A-Wrestler.</p>

the smackdown vs. raw games are great, but the best game i ever played was new japan pro wrestling for the original playstation.

the WWF NO MERCY game was the best.&nbsp; i created a wrestker that looks alot like me.&nbsp; the moves were great also.&nbsp; The bubba cutter won a lot of matches for me.&nbsp;

i remember i was so exctied with wcw vs the world, i thought that game was so gangsta... and i recently tried to play it and it was awful. wcw vs nwo for 64 was on point tho

Capcom made a fun wrestling game for SNES and Genesis called Saturday Night Slam Masters. It was very flashy and fun. You could play as Haggar from the Final Fight series. My friend had it on Genesis and that version included a barbed wire match ala FMW. Sweet.<br />
