<p>can you add friends codes even if the person is&nbsp;nowhere near you?</p><p>I don't actually have mario kart..but was curious about wireless play on the DS.&nbsp; The only games I have are nintendogs and super mario ds.</p>

<p>Mario Kart introduced the Nintendo WiFi connection..</p><p>It now plays games over the net instead of just a local connection.&nbsp; I am in NJ and always play with my friends down in DC and you can also connect to anyone in the world as well.<br /><br />Going forward more and more games are supporting the WiFi as well.&nbsp; If you don't have a wireless router you can get an adapter and plug right into your network connection.</p><p>So with everyone on this board I am the only one with Mario Kart on the DS?&nbsp;</p>

<p>that's very interesting...</p><p>I wasn't sure I wanted to get Mario Kart because no one else I know has a ninendo ds for me to play with..but this wireless stuff is worth looking into.&nbsp; Maybe one of these days I'll post my mario kart friend code. :)</p><p>Gotta get my first paycheck from work first...then maybe I'll buy the game. lol.</p>
