I'm listening to it again for the second time on my myfi and when Eastside Dave is Hitler he sounds like he's doing an Adam Sandler impression.

http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a45/JLehane/BigSteveBearFaceGrrrrr.jpgIt's not fake. When they did these Hypno shows LIVE in clubs and on the air it was always a guaranteed howl and cringe laughs(2003-05). Crazy Jen replays come to mind. Some of the interns today couldn't go under, probably because they tensed up or were too wound up.It may take a few of these show to get the hang of how it goes if this stuff is new to you.It shows you different sides to each persons personality, sometimes by AMPLIFYING their quirks and general demeanor. Some of the HYPNO themes are reworked and repeated over the years, and they still get laughs. I don't have a great all-encompassing definition for what happens exactly during the process of the "performance " under hypnosis, but it's something like the mind deceiving itself in a waking dream,so there are IMPLANTED SUGGESTIONS pre-setup bits that the experiencer is unaware of ,like mental blocks to saying simple words. People will say and do some funny crazy things while under HYPNO in staged performances, but it can't be fake if it actually helps people STOP SMOKING. **** Steve the Bear is the O&A show producer/sound guy.He drives a hybrid car.

I caught a half hour of this on my lunchbreak today and it was radio gold, it made me remember why I love Ron & Fez so much. Great, great radio.

<p>Hi All,</p><p>Well I just got home on the train from New Yawk. Trust me it was all real (there will always be people who don't believe in it till they actually see it). I just hope somebody out there taped the whole thing so I can get a copy myself! You have to remember that doing stage hypnosis is normally very visual, its pretty hard to do it over the radio and be all audio, but today I had 5 guys who went under very deep and were fantastic subjects. I also had 3 people who I did not use because they were not concentrating well enough to use them. Ron did comment to me that this was the best Hypnosis show ever.</p><p>I got a pic with the boys and Black Earl (who chickened out). I will say I had never met Master Poe before and he was pretty serious the whole time until they all turned into Ninjas, and then he was actually almost on the floor laughing. If you could have seen Dave's (the guy who wacks all over the pace) face as his mouth moved, and then there was a delay before the words came out just like in a bad Ninja movie, now that was priceless.</p><p>Well glad you were all entertained...I had a blast....I wish I could have brought Crazy Jen up there with me to add to the show.</p><p>Cheers,</p><p>Don "The Hypnotist"</p>

I loved it. I laughed my ass off all night. I'm recording it right now for one of my co-workers who listened on JFK, but doesn't have XM.

<p><font size="2">I couldn't stop laughing, it is the funniest show I've heard since they started on XM. When Don told them the situation under hypnosis, </font><font size="2">I didn't know what to expect. At first the setup sounded boring until they acted out the situation. The unexpected was what was so funny.</font><br /> </p><p><font size="2">I remembered the show when Don "The Hypnotist" was on the show at WJFK with RnF and it was another hilarious show. Don had some interns hypnotized and told them the cops were there to arrest them and they had to hide. One intern was so scared he bolted out of the studio and I think it was J-Dubs who had to chase after him.</font></p><p><font size="2">RnF should definitely invite Don back again to do another show. <br /></font></p><font size="2" />

<p>I was real skeptical, I'll admit, having heard Don a bunch of times on WJFK. Not in his abilities, just about if it would work well.</p><p>I know he's the real deal, I just wasnt sure how it would go over in a new environment, and with new peeps, but wow, it was hysterical, it was gold. </p>

It actually freaked Don out that the intern (was it Bitz?) ran out like that. He said something like, "I had to hit him with a hypnotic wowie-zowie" or something like that. Anoter highlight of that show was when he had Keisha saying "yes" to any question that was asked. Ron really rolled with it... and it kinda turned me on hearing her answer "yes" to everything.</p>

Bitz ran out of the studio, and Don had to go after him; he found him in the WJFK sales area, hiding under a desk. Other highlights of the show was Bitz's Don Knotts impersonation (where he morphed "Barney Fife" with "Mr. Furley"), Bitz yelling about terrorists (Dubs had to keep bleeping him) - and, at the end of that same show, was the first YMB of 2005.</p><p>Another favorite hypno show of mine was months earlier when Crazy Jen went under (the first one in studio) and she thought she was a little girl. <br /></p>
