The band Grandaddy officially split this week.&nbsp; It's a shame they weren't more popular in the states.&nbsp; Anyway, listen to Sophtware Slump if you want to hear grandaddy at their best.<br />

I'm sorry to hear this. When I first heard &quot;Sophtware Slump&quot; I thought it sounded too clinical, like they were afraid to put any emotion into their music, but after a few listens I &quot;got it.&quot; I thought &quot;Sumday&quot; was the best album of 2003, and &quot;The Warming Sun&quot; is still one of my favorite songs.&nbsp; Thanks for posting this news.&nbsp;
