Everyone has seen that shaky film taken ages ago that purports to be actual footage of a lumbering Bigfoot through the woods. Well, thanks to modern technology, the shaky aspect of the footage has been removed (much like they did to the Zapruder film of the Kennedy assassination) and the results are astounding....

IT'S A FUCKING GUY IN A BIGFOOT COSTUME !!!

Enjoy!

BTW - Here is the link to the "steadied" Zapruder film. Be warned - even more graphic than the original.

Dead Kennedy

The Patterson film was exposed years ago, the bigfoot costume was made by some make up people from the original Planet of the Apes film, and they confessed! Still doesn't mean there's no bigfoot, yeti, whatever...

The main Bigfoot guy died a coupple of years back. Family confessions of him faking the Bigfoot stuff fell on deaf ears for the conspiracy theorists. Classic footage though, which as a kid, scared the shit outta me...

From the Skeptical Inquirer:

One of the leading figures of the North American Bigfoot legend died on November 26, 2002, at the age of 84. Ray Wallace was the subcontractor on a road-building operation in Humboldt County, California, in the summer of 1958 when giant footprints began appearing overnight on the freshly cleared road. Tracks would appear intermittently in the area, attracting amazed onlookers and reporters eager for a good mystery to write about. Upon his death, his family confirmed what had been suspected for decades--Ray Wallace spawned Bigfoot with a practical joke that got out of hand.

Not only were Wallace's hoaxed footprints among the first documented Bigfoot tracks, but Wallace also had a link to what many Bigfoot researchers consider the best evidence for the unknown creature: the 1967 film showing a large, hairy creature crossing the Bluff Creek drainage. Filmer Roger Patterson was in the process of making a documentary about Bigfoot, and set out that day specifically to film the creature. Wallace apparently told Patterson exactly where to look to obtain the coveted footage. Though Wallace never claimed credit for the hoax, he did say he knew it was faked--and who was in the suit.

Link to full article
