Is Bruce Wayne still Batman? I know Azreal took over for him when his back was broken, and then Dick Grayson took over for a little while, but Bruce has been back for a while right? I haven't read a comic book in a long time, Batman was always my favorite.

I thought the series started really badly.  You were required to read all the lead up series to be able to make sense.  I picked up those trades as they came out and shit started making sense.The 4th issue has been the best one yet.  The plot is finally laid out, Earth-2 Superboy goes psycho and the speed force is no more.

sorry i like to save the best books i bought for last i still have Ex

anyways 

man i am digging on this bowl of soup right here

my favorite part is when krypto bit superboy but least favorite part is when
superboy smacked krypto 

i kinda got lost when it fliped into the space scene wich thats still
confuseing even when it was rann thangar war the whole space part confusesses
me alot 

like i think i needed to get the last couple outsiders to understand more
but i got the whole donna troy thing and what the hell giant arms coming out 

 and like i hate Bludhaven so i kind of like that its getting possibly destroyed
mostly i hate it because i don't understand it i dont know where its from or

and with the big long explanation that happened if they needed all these
things to happen like to get eclipso and stuff do you think it will come out

Central is the trades never came out like yeah the first and second but

Uhhhh, reading you guys talking about Marvel is making me ill.  Sounds like they really fucked with the whole Marvel universe.  Not that I've read any Marvel comics in year but it was nice to know they were all still there.  I'd probably vomit to hear where they took all the characters and who they killed off.Is there a website where I can catch up a little?  I'd say the last Marvel comics I read were back in the late 90's.

Great.  I just read a few links about Magneto, the whole universe and more important, Wolverine.  They messed with his memories AGAIN.  Now he knows who he is, he remembers his whole life and his real name is James Howlett? Some of the things that went on were really interesting sounding, but then I read how they're fucking with Wolverine and I got really pissed.But now that I read there's an Origins comic bood series, I may be forced to go get it.

cool i got the black and white version i wanted to get into the wolverine now with memory stories but i keep forgetting to check ill have to check the shop Wednessday you
should go to Funnybooks in Lake Hiawatha Moe you being in butler i
think it would be basicly be the closest shop and also the shop i go toSteve the owner is a ron and fez fan thats the kinda crowd i roll with

Every single One year Later Preview Looks un-Interesting to me but god I love the Crisis 
it's like I have been fallonwing a story for a couple years now i have nothing I Think im going to stick with 52 then pick up trades on anything that connects thats goodthe only thing i want to know is who Cat Womans Baby's daddy isalso tomarrow is Batman Annual and they promis to say clear up the Jason thing this one year jump stinks and Marvel Civil War looks so dumb why did they go and have a awesome year and now they want to make it all shittyand what's up with planet Hulkat least with the one year later and Civil War stories looking dull to me will lead to me save money

Infinite Crisis 5 was OK, didn't have the impact that 4 had for me.  However, it sets up nicely at the end for a bombastic issue 6 with a lot of ass-whupping!  Spoiler in White:Flash (pretty sure it was Wally but could it be Barry?) reappears to say that they couldn't hold Superboy-Prime in the Speed Force.  Final scene is Superboy-Prime, pissed with red eyes a blazing - wearing Anti-Monitor armor looking for a fight!

Guys, this is a discussion forum, that means it's full of spoilers, you don't need to white them all out.  I agree that 5 didn't have the impact, but there was some good stuff there.  I liked Superman 2's turn of conscience, Superman's line "If this was a perfect Earth, there would be no need for Superman," and a few other things.I thought it was Wally who came back, too, but after reading things on Newsarama, seems people are thinking it may be Barry.

It may be Bart.  And here's why.  The head of DC Comics, Didio, has said that Superboy Prime ("SP") will be the biggest threat the universe has ever faced.  Well, as of #4, he was definitely tough, but I think that Superman E-1 could have taken him, and certainly Supes E-1 and E-2 could have taken him.  For him to be the threat, somethings about SP had to change and his power had to increase.  And as of #5, he has changed (assuming that his costume change was meant to represent a power change or increase as well).  Such changes could happen over time.  If SP has changed in whatever dimension the Flashes took him to, he could have also aged.  Time flow could be different there.  If he aged, then the flashes would as well.  Ergo, Bart could be the new Flash.

My hope is the Flash will continue to be Wally. I don't like the idea of bring back Barry or aging Bart. Although if there going to make Bart the next Flash they can easily explain the new age thing. When Bart first appeared he had a sort of rapid aging diease if he is to be the new Flash I'm sure this will be used somehow

What made Bart a great character during Mark Waid's run was that Bart was destined to become Flash after Wally (it's referenced when they meet the Legion, Iris Allen, Bart's mother, etc. at points), but he's reluctant to follow in Wally's footsteps because he wants to rebel.  Of course, they did a total 180 as soon as he joined the latest incarnation of the Teen Titans and turned him into Kid Flash.

scenes i really admired but i still don't like this year later stuff I

According to this article from Newsarama The Flash that appeared at the end of IC 5 was Barry AllenQ: Which Flash is that? A: Sticking to history (both from his series/appearances as well as how the Wally West Flash looked in issue #4), the straight lightning bolt belt tells us that this is Barry Allen, returning to his role of warning the other characters in Crisis that something bad is coming. Do you think they would bring Barry back for the new series? I have mixed feelings.

I love Mark Waid's run on the Flash.  Totally amazing.  I tried the first Johns trade and haven't touched it since, didn't really care for it.I'm waiting for the trade on the Batman Annual (was already announced before the book came out) and 52.

I didn't like the Batman Annual, but I loved Batman #650.   With that issue, they made Jason Todd's actions understandable and powerful.  Plus, its clear that Bats is going to change ya all.

I just wanted to bring the topic up.   And you may edit your post, but you can't avoid the shame.  You've been quoted and not even Earth-2 Superboy can help you. <img src="http://www.ronfez.net/messageboard/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/down.gif" border="0" />I know.  I only edited the post to erase the idea that I think people need to know when I post.Anyway, back to Infinite Crisis #6, I read it yesterday, and it was another big issue.  As I theorized, it is revealed [SPOILERS!!!!]that Superboy Prime was kept prisoner by the Flashes for years, which would support Bart being the new Flash.  Another good point for this is the new issue of Teen Titans which reveals that Bart is sort of retired.  This could lead to him being the new Flash.Anyway, some great action and a great sacrifice in this issue.  However, maybe I'm comparing this to COIE too much but, I'm feeling a little disappointed with the series.  It's been good and fun, but I guess I haven't gotten the sense of universal importance with this series that I got with COIE.  The villains, Alexander Luthor and Super-Boy Prime just don't seem as big of a foe as the Anti-Monitor.  With Super-Boy Prime, he was definitely a threat, but maybe he would have been a bigger one (and maybe he still will be a bigger one in the future) if he took on Superman (Earth-1 or Earth-2) and made them sweat it out.  There also seems to be less of an "organization" or coordination to this series than in COIE.  In COIE, the heroes (and villains) worked together in creating plans that had multiple parts.  Here while there are multiple groups of heroes working against Luthor, they weren't really coordinated.  It's like one group led by Donna Troy on their own decided to take on the space threat, while Nightwing and Superboy decided to go to Antartica, and while Batman took a team to find Brother Eye.  No one sat these heroes down and told them you go here and you go there.  It's all just like they happend to plan at the same time by concidence.Anyway, it's definitely been very, very good, and far, far better than House of M, but so far, all of my expectations (whether reasonable or not) have not been met.  Maybe, once it's all out and I read it again, it will be better.

I agree that they're trying to tell too many stories in one comic, so things don't get resolved strongly enough.  The mystics summon Spectre, Superboy threatens the Titans, Batman and co. battle Brother Eye, 2 Supermen and Wonder Women have to find Earth-1, etc.  There's just too much going on and not enough room to tell all the stories.  The strength of the original Crisis was that it was one huge, earth shattering story that was very focused for 12 issues, rather than a book that tried to tell all these stories with all these prequels and off-shoots.

Okay, here's the changes I can see based on the shards:1)  One shard shows a young boy hugging a man, with a newspaper in the foreground saynig "Joe Chill ___ Wayne murder."2)  One shard shows Superboy in front of a Smallville sign, suggesting that Superman did appear as Superboy when he was younger.3)  Another two shards shows: a) Flash, MM, Aquaman, and GL strung up as part of a classic early JLA cover, and b) the shard next to it shows Wonder Woman similarly strung up.  After Crisis, the continuity was that Black Canary and not WW was an initial JLA member.  This appears to change that back to Pre-Crisis.

superman 2 movie that were in the phantom zone general zod and otheres
thats just what i thought when i saw it then on newramma someone said

I think the number of deaths and maimings in that final issue was pretty messed up.  I also found it interesting that Doomsday could go toe to toe with "our" Superman, but the two of them just destroy him in seconds. And the big point is Alex Luthor's speech to Superboy Prime, Batman's parents' killer is known again, Superman's rumored to be seen years before Metropolis and (I forget the third one).It felt like the climax of the story was Superboy vs Superboy and the entire seventh issue was the deneumont.My other question is are Earth-2 Superman and Earth-3 Luthor now on the current Earth?
